I looked at both trunks and hampers on several websites. These are the only things that met my requirements and have also exceeded my expectations: Great - 1. Capacity (depth x width x length): Better than a lot of hampers or even trunks 2. Quality: The bamboo, the construction and the lid 3. Multipurpose: - I stood on it as a stool to move things from high to low, or from low to high. Nothing breaks and extremely sturdy and strong. - I sit the both of them and the fabric on the lid is very nice and comfortable; there is even a thin cusion on the lid as a nice seating. Very very satisfied with these products. I feel sorry for the previous reviewer that had a broken piece. I am lucky, but I do agree that the packaging can be improved by stuffing in some airbags as cusion between the box and the products.

This set was the perfect addition to the new look in our remodeled master bedroom. I ordered the sage square set and am completely satisfied. I was hoping to find a nice-looking hamper instead of getting a cheap, plastic one from the local chain store. This set is a bit pricey, but worth it. They look nice, are sturdy, and hold a lot of clothes. I was worried they wouldn¿t hold much due to not being very tall, but they are very deep and hold more than you would think to look at them. Having two different sizes makes it easy to separate light and dark clothes. The only thing I would add to improve them would be handles so that I could carry them to and from the laundry room instead of having to transfer them to a laundry basket. I definitely recommend this item!

I looked in regular stores to find a product like this and couldn't find anything like it. Especially for the price. The hamper is strong and made very well and were not afraid of using it.

I bought these for my bedroom. they are smaller than I thought and not as sturdy as i would ahve liked, but good value for the money. you cannot sit on them.

I am very pleased with the bamboo laundry hampers i purchased from overstock! They look very attractive in each of the rooms I am using them in, and hold more clothes than you would think. They arrived in perfect condition, and much sooner than i expected. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and will not hesitate to order from Overstock again in the future!

These hampers are handsome however, they are quite fragile. Better for looks than lots of laundry

The hamper is really nice, but Overstock has shipping problems. The hamper is made of fragile wood, and fills the entire shipping box. It arrived broken, just as someone else described, needing much gluing and repair because it was shipped without one bit of packaging, just a thin cardboard box. We were given a credit to repair the damage, which we have done. The hampers are great. The small one is as large as a standard hamper. The vertical, honey colored bamboo looks fabulous with my wood floors. If this had arrived intact, I would give it a 5.

Great product. 2 hampers for the price of one. One smaller and one larger...it's perfect for the bedroom and laundry room.

The quality and value of these hampers was excellent. They arrived within a couple of days and when I opened the box, I couldn't have been more pleased. We use the bigger hamper in our main bathroom, and the smaller hamper is in our guest room -- something our guests have already used and appreciate. I recommend this product highly.

I had searched for months for a nice hamper to replace a raggedy one I had for years. I was pleased with the appearance and the large size. I gave the small one away as I only had a need for the large one so two families are enjoying the hampers. Nice material, good colors, looks great! A bit higher priced than others I have seen since, but I really needed it at the time and had no more time to shop!

These are about the nicest hampers i've seen in quite some time, and also quality construction, gave the smaller one to son for his new apartment and he also loves it.

These are beautiful hampers. However, the smaller one was broken - the bottom bamboo strap was split. We contacted customer service for an exchange, and the exchange arrived broken too! It must be a product defect.
