softer than just the mattress
I was really excited to get something to add a little cushion, comfort and support to my mattress. The feather topper bed is nice, and I imagine it will be much cooler than man-made material foam topper. I do see that I need to refluff the topper pretty often as I sleep in a queen sized bed by myself and tend to sleep on one side and not the other. Overall I am pleased, but maybe would get the one without the skirt so it is easier to fluff.

Featherbed and Skirt Set
This featherbed is heavenly soft, made of good quality fabric, well-stuffed with feathers, and was a good price. I couldn't be happier. The skirt is a must, to keep the featherbed in place, and is deep enough for any mattress.
