I was looking for a cotton knit blanket that wouldn't snag and I found it. However it is really lightweight-- good for a Summer night but only layering after that. The fabric quality is worthy but it could be a bit softer, and for the price I was hoping plusher. However that said, this blanket does not snag at all, so I don't regret the purchase because decent knit blankets that don't fall apart are difficult to come by, especially at this price. One caveat,: The care instructions advise a cold water wash; mine shrank quite a bit after I washed in warm so I don't advise that..

This blanket was purchased for a King-sized, extra-deep mattress. The blanket covers the mattress well and still has enough extra fabric for adequate tuckage under the mattress. Like many couples, my body temperature tends to run cold while my husband's runs hot. This blanket helps maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature for both of us. Although a thin blanket, it has a heavy weight to it, which I like. Our previous blanket was kind of slick and the comforter would slide off; this blanket's material does not cause slippage. The material weave is very tight and there has not been any pilling, fraying or snagging. This is the third blanket we've purchased for our extra-deep mattress, and we've finally found a keeper!

This blanket is surprisingly luxurious. The large size (queen/king) is more than adequate and the construction is high quality. While this blanket is amazingly soft, it remains durable feeling and feels very well constructed despite its relative thinness. The softness also makes this blanket great for curling up with, or as an addition to your bed during the winter months. I am tempted to purchase another.

I have been looking for ever for a cotton blanket with a tight weave (cats wreck anything else), and this one is absolutely perfect. It's a great weight as well.. and looks beautiful on the bed. I thought it was a little pricey for being a cotton blanket, but now that I have it, it's worth every penny.

this blanket serves it's purpose. it's both light enough for warm nights, and combined with a sheet, is perfect for cooler evenings. easy to take care of, and fairly lightweight, it makes a perfect addition to your bedroom. great gift idea as well.

I love this blanket! It is worth every penny. I have bought several white blankets either at a discount at other stores or coughed up the money and paid department store prices for their "hotel collection" only to be disappointed by the quality and look after use and wash - turning out to look more like a "motel collection". This blanket has great weight to it, the stitching is tight and well done. It's perfect for those regular nights to use just over your sheet or under a comforter when the nights get really cold. The best part for me though is because of its weight (it's not too heavy) it stays on top of the sheet with you during the night and doesn't slide off the bed which has happened with so many. Yeah maybe a tid pricey at first, but worth it and save yourself some money down the road at not having to keep replacing blankets that pill and look old after their first or second wash.

like this blanket. i was hoping that it would be warmer than it is, but it is still very nice. doesn't stretch like some cotton knit blankets.

this blanket is too heavy - microcotton to me meant lighweight and this one is heavy, too heavy. this is not noted in the item description.

This blanket is absolutely wonderful, soft cozy and over sized so it fits well on our king bed with enough width so we both have plenty of blanket. I rated it four on appearance and quality only because there are a few strings showing here and there but I would buy this product again!

This is the best cotton blanket I have seen--tightly woven, heavier weight and very unlikely to snag. I have received and purchased blankets more expensive and not nearly as nice from BBB etc. Considering returning one of those to get another one of these for my guest Queen bed, even though will be large. Received this from Mom--thanks Mom--this is a winner!!

I gave this to a friend for her birthday. A wonderful summer blanket. She was thrilled. I looked at many web sites and thought this was the best value and look. I only wish I could have touched it. My friend did and was delighted.

The only positive thing I have to say about this product is that it arrived two days after I ordered it. I received it yesterday and washed and dried it as directed. I went to put it on my king-size bed and it just covers the bed. I cannot tuck it in on either side as it is way to short. It may be wide enough to tuck into a queen-size mattress. It looks like I am going to have to give this blanket to my son for his full-size bed. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this to anyone with a king-size bed. Anyone who wishes to purchase this blanket will have to purchase for sure 1 size up, as long as your looking at a queen-sized bed or smaller.

This blanket washes beautifully, feels wonderful and sleeps very nicely. Only small problem is disappointment in "sky" color which turns out to be slightly more "sea green" in reality. We bought two king size blankets for our queen bed and it fits just right.

Love the blanket. Keeps you warm but is not overly hot because it is not too thick. Very well made and stays on the bed without slipping off in the night like some of the "plush" blankets do. It has enough weight to stay anchored.

I was looking everywhere for a soft, lightweight blanket that I could use year-round (in South Florida) - this one fits the bill! The weave is really comfortable, the weight is just right, and it's a great size (got the king size for my queen bed - just the right amount of overhang). It was probably a little more than I originally budgeted for, but well worth it - I looked in so many retail and department stores without coming close to finding something like this blanket. Great value for a great product!

While this blanket was a little more expensive than I intended to spend it was the only one I found that had the quality characteristics that I wanted. I wasn't disappointed at all when I received it.

I have a queen size bed, but I don't want my blanket's hanging long...so after reading the reviews for this Micro Cotton Blanket...I decided to go with what I've ordered for all my other bedding...Queen size. WRONG...this blanket runs really short. Had I known that, I would have ordered King. The write-up should let customers know that this blanket's queen size is a small queen (if that makes sense!)

Read the description and the reviews for this blanket and bought it with the concern that it might be too thin or light. Wrong ! We may live in South Carolina but we like our bedroom to be well cooled summer and winter, including use of a ceiling fan and floor fan. After a month's experience with this blanket my wife remarked how she felt that she was sleeping so much better than before and awakening in the morning much more refreshed. My experience has been the same. I was surprised that while this blanket in its zipper package felt fairly lightweight, when in bed under a sheet and this blanket, it felt heavier (in a good way) compared to the polyester type blanket we had been using. This has proven to be one of my better buys and I highly recommend this blanket for its comfort and quality.

Purchased this for my California King and it actually fits very well - great width and length. Soft feel but a blanket with nice weight to it. Only issue is that the color is a bit on the light side as compared to the product photo; otherwise, very good purchase and I highly recommend this item.
