I have a Temper Pedic bed that is older - though I love the bed, I was looking for something to soften it up and help give it a little more life so I wouldn't have to pay to get a brand new mattress. This did the trick! It is like sleeping on a cloud. I love it. I don't wake up with stiff hips or shoulders (I'm a side sleeper) any more. That has been fabulous. If you are a hot sleeper, you may find this hotter than you like. It says ventilated, but it does seem to hold the body heat. I'm cold natured, so it's perfect for me.
A few months ago my husband and I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress which caused my hips to start hurting -- I am a side sleeper, and this mattress is just a bit too firm for me. To soften the mattress I purchased this mattress topper, and am so happy that I did. It is extremely comfortable, my hips have stopped hurting, and I hardly toss and turn at all now. We let it air out on top of another bed for a few days once we received it, so odor was not a problem. It has not been too hot for us either. I am delighted with it!
****BEFORE I GET INTO MY STORY LET ME JUST SAY IF YOU DONT LIKE SOFT BEDS THIS MIGHT NOT BE FOR YOU THAT BEING SAID I DIDN'T UNTIL I USED THIS TOPPER.*** I recently began to develop back and neck problems when i sleep so i decided to purchase a Temper-pedic mattress. I knew i had a 90 day free trail so i said why not. Although the bed did fix my back pain i was willing to give it back based off the price being so DAMN expensive. When i returned the bed all i had to sleep on was a futon bed which brought back some of the back pain and after i bought this 4" Serta memory foam topper I can say i am once again back pain free!!! so just to summarize i had the same pain relief from my mattress topper on a crappy futon bed as I did from the temper-pedic mattress. You do the math! happy dreams!
I've had several Visco memory foam mattresses on several beds and am never disappointed. It seems the Visco surface stays soft but still is sturdy for long time. Anita D.
This memory foam topper cover is very nice. When I ordered it, I assumed it was a zip over cover for the 2 inch memory foam topper that I ordered. However, it fits like a mattress cover with elastic. It is plenty big enough to cover my thick mattress plus the 2" foam topper. I am very pleased.
his is an excellent pillow, but for a particular kind of sleeper. It feels very much like a Tempur-Pedic bed. The memory foam molds perfectly to your head, and then maintains that shape while you sleep. It is also firm, like a Tempur-Pedic bed. I recommend this pillow for people who like a firm, conforming pillow that is good for side sleeping and back sleeping.
Having slept on a tempur-pedic mattress for years, I purchased this mattress topper because I have recently moved and had to put my bed in storage. This is the next best thing to the tempur-pedic mattress.
