The wedge does its job but does not have the same "give" as true memory foam. They outer cover is the same type of cover that is on real memory foam so it is soft but the pillow itself is more like a wedge of plain foam...but it worked for its purpose of keeping me elevated so I could rest easier when I was pregnant!

I've had this pillow for approx. 3 months. I ordered it a few weeks after I received my 14 inch Comfort Dream memory foam mattress. The pillow compliments the mattress well. The 6 inch pillow adds great support while sleeping on my side and is very comfortable while lying on my back. I didn't expect this much comfort in both positions with one pillow. I can't say enough about the mattress either.

I ordered this memory foam wedge pillow for my mother. She has trouble sleeping due to arthritis & back problems. I received the memory foam pillow only a few days after submitting my order (great service!). My mom has been sleeping much better with the help of this pillow. I compared with others before deciding on this comfort dreams wedge pillow and this purchase was the best deal I found. Quality and price are great!

Pillow is excellant. It is the exact specifications that it is advertised as, and every bit as comfortable. It's a dream to sleep on. Best $** I've ever spent.

I purchased this pillow as back support, and have modified it for my couch. I did not need a pillow for sleeping in an elevated position, so I cannot speak on that. But, I can describe it to you. This is not a small pillow, so pay close attention to the measurements. The pillow cover is very nice and looks and feels expensive. The pillow wedge itself is made of two parts - the majority of it is made of regular hard/firm foam, and the top layer is apprx. two inches of soft dreamy memory foam. These two parts are lightly glued together. If you remove the pillow case, you can separate the memory foam from the regular foam with a tug and a pull. I use my memory foam peice (doubled over) as a leg pillow. It is fantastic. And, I cut the regular foam into a smaller chunck to support my back when laying on the couch because it helps with the pain of many surgeries. So, although I cannot comment on how comfortable it would be to use it for it's intended purpose, I it seems like it would be comfortable in it's original form - due to the luxurious memory foam layer (and I own a lot of memory foam products, including a bed: Memory foam is very different in quality).

Pricey! This Memory Foam does hold it's shape well! Perfect for bed reading, TV watching, laptop time. I wish they sold a cover with it. It is bigger than a pillow in dimension, and I sprinkle talcum powder on it for a refreshing scent. I place a pillow case on the angled surface of the wedge and change weekly. It holds my neck well but still, I need a smaller pillow for added angle when I use the laptop.

Pros: its not cheap. firm but pliable high end furniture base foam with memory foam topper layer, 3 piece system creates many options for angle of recline. synthetic suede cover helps it stay put once you find a good angle. Cons: its not cheap. angle of drop off at the base of pillow creates a bit more downward pressure on my tail bone than I prefer. I wish it had a little longer tail area transition. tan cover is only on the sides. the part you lay on is white stretch terrycloth. I was hoping for all over tan color for a more living room suitable pillow system. The tan fabric does not stretch so much but the white fabric does so it gets the zipper out of place easy. its bulky and a bit on the heavy side, so relocating it often is a bit of a hassle, but its worth the hassle once you lay on it.

I use with one or two memory foam pillows; but this product could use sets of matching pillow cases. Washing the 'case' and leaving the foam exposed during the cleaning shortens the life of the product, as the case 'shrinks', zippers go wonky, etc. This is the 2nd or 3rd pillow I've bought as they wear out. I first purchased a medical supply wedge which was extremely uncomfortable, so I went looking for a memory foam wedge. This wedge is perfect, supportive but comfortable. It has a removable washable cover that is very nice. I needed this wedge after surgery and it had filled my needs very well and it is really a great price.
