I have a memory foam mattress and pillow. Now, with the body pillow I'm in heaven! By laying my leg over the body pillow, i have relieved the pressure on my lower back allowing me to sleep soundly! Thank you Integrity!

I have tried a few other body pillows from this site, this one is so great! It is the right amount of firmness and squishiness, perfect for throwing your arms and legs around while you sleep

I have been a customer of Overstock.com for many years and have always received my purchases in excellent condition. This body pillow is very comfortable. I only wish that the stuffing would have been one long piece of memory foam instead of what appears to be pieces. This stuffing makes it 'BUNCH UP" when in use,so you have to keep fluffing it back into position.

This was a good deal and the pillows are comfortable. They are a little firm and don't "give" much, but i find them comforable. If you are looking for a soft pillow that "gives" when you lay on it, this is not it.

This is really a true thermally sensitive pillow. When I got it I noticed that it was really hard (it had been outside at 40F). Wife immediately said it was too hard and too tall. I said how do you know? Let's wait for it to get to the house temperature then we can judge it. A few hours later on I could see that it was softer (still stiff enough though) and that it definetely was not a cheap foam material. The pillow immediately molded itself around my had and neck and provided the right amount of support. It is so comfortable that it begs you to stay in the same relaxing position a lot longer. I rested so much better that the next day I woke up 1 hour earlier tha usual and felt better. This just on the first night of sleep. I noticed that it provides the correct support that my chiropractor recommended me to look for on a pillow. Most pillows are totally bad by keeping the head raised in relation to the body and force the neck vertebra to be stretched forward. This pillow should help me in keeping the natural curvature recommended for the neck vertebras to avoid neck pain and mobility issues. I am buying another one for my father to help him with sleeping issues. Another good think I noticed is that I did not sweat on my neck as I used to when using other foam based pillows. It has a slight smell after taking it out of the bag but it goes away the next day. Please don't buy too many so that the price stays affordable, haha

These pillows are described on Overstock as "luxurious memory foam pillows". However, they are NOT memory foam. What is memory foam? See here: http://*** Memory foam is a viscous, dense synthetic material that conforms to your body kind of like very soft clay. Ordinary foams simply compress, like a wet sponge. Now perhaps you like wet sponges for pillows. If so, fine - to each his own. But if you are looking for memory foam pillows, don't buy these pillows.

Love this body pillow. I have bought traditional ones before but they don't provide all that much support, and although they are soft they don't conform to your body. They also lose their loft pretty quickly. This body pillow is thick enough to really support your arm and leg (if you sleep on your side like I do), but also lets you sink into it, which is super-comfortable. I previously bought a Tempur-pedic mattress and ended up returning it because it was too firm for me, so I do relate to that problem, but to me this pillow has plenty of "give". I received it yesterday (3 days after ordering) and used it last night, and I swear I slept more soundly than I have in a long time. I think the comfort (feeling no pressure, as if you're floating) helped keep me from waking up often, which I usually have trouble with. Definitely recommended.

I am 5'2" and bought this pillow as a body bolster to hug and throw my knee over while I sleep on my side. It is very thick and firm. I would not be able to use as a pillow for my head, as it is too thick, almost too thick for me to use as a bolster or to get my knee in a comfortable position because the pillow does not allow for easy adjusting or have much "give", but I deal with it. No choice since there are no returns. It would be good for a larger person who likes firm pillows. Heavy and substantial. The fill does move around, but not much as the pillow is filled pretty tightly, but I still fluff/readjust each night before I go to bed. I can't comment on the pillow loosing its fluff or going flat over use because I have not owned it long enough, but seems to be the same as when 1st purchased. The cover is attractive, soft and thick, but I wash it every week inside out and, in 5 weeks, it is already pilling and fuzzy on the outside. By the way, Overstock does an extremely poor job of packaging for shipping. The pillow company packaged it in plastic wrap, no box. Overstock just wrapped the plastic-wrapped pillow tightly in more plastic and rolled it up like a yoga mat, so when you try to open it, you have to VERY SLOWLY make SMALL cuts in the outer plastic or you will cut the pillow and cover, which I did, even though I WAS slow and careful. Not happy for the ignorance in shipping method.

Firstly, I have shopped at the 'O' quite a bit, with very few disappointments. Now with THAT said, I would NEVER spend as much as I did, even at a discount, for aqny memory foam pillow because although the beds are great, the ability to make a comfy pillow has yet to impress me but THIS does come close and ONLY reason keeping it! My pillow came FULLY expanded in a wide box with plastic around it and al almost wondering if I did not have someone's returned item shoved onto me?!! The description states CLEARLY that it is 6 1/2 inches THICK, and 17x30" in size. WITH the cover that came on it, again it came FULLY expanded; I would REALLY be pushing it if it was EVEN 5 inches!! Now, the O sells smaller in width pillows but NOT with this cover (will get to MAJOR complaint of cover next), and again, wondering if I got something that was returned. NOW, the description states verbatum: This extra thick 6.5-inch ventilated open cell visco memory foam pillow molds to the shape of your head, neck, and spine for personalize support. This pillow includes a washable plush organic cotton cover for a supple and luxurious feeling. Pillow measures 6.5 inches thick Materials: Visco memory foam Density: 4 pounds Pillow measures 17 inches wide x 30 inches long x 6.5 inches thick Memory foam is resistant to dust mites and is naturally antimicrobial Originally designed for NASA, this space age foam cradles your body, reducing pressure points that cause tossing and turning Meets all flammability standards Extra plush organic cotton cover Cover care instructions: Machine washable THE COVER IS **NOT** MACHINE WASHABLE---STATES ON TAG HAND WASH ONLY. ALSO, THE TAG ON PILLOW'S COVER STATES ONLY 22% COTTON, 1% ELASTANE, AND 77%...SEVENTY-SEVEN PERCENT P O L Y E S T E R!!!! Had I known this I could have bought the TWO pillows without a cover at all by same maker and more like my pillow's size and probably what i got anyway, for THE SAME FULL PRICE OF THIS PILLOW (AGAIN FOR TWO), BUT I THOUGHT I WAS PAYING FOR AN ORGANIC COTTON COVER...NOT JUST A WEE AMNT OF COTTON AND REST POLYESTER!!!! I HATE HASSLE OF RETURNS AND IFANYTHING WILL GIVE THIS TO MY MOTHER BUT TRUTH IN ADVERTISING SUCKS THE BIG ONE ON THIS AND REAQLLY THINK THE O CAN DO BETTER. A SEPERATE ORDER ARRIVED AS WELL TODAY AND IT IS A NEW MEMORY FOAM BED AND HAD A BIT OF TROUBLE WITH SHIPPING ALTHOUGH RESOLVED BY THE O'S GREAT CUSTOMER SVC. BUT AM LOOKING AT PKG WITH TREPIDATION!. I bought this pillow because of size AND the **organic** cotton cover and now realizing that was totally deceitful advertising, cannot reccommned this pillow for the price even at a discount.

I bought these pillows because I have a tempurpedic bed and head pillows and have always used body pillows as well so I figured this would be a great fit for our bed. Just as I thought it was!!! I would absolutely recommend these to anyone that enjoys a body pillow but gets tired of the traditional pillows that get flat rather quickly. These pillows are so comfy and conform to your body just like memory foam beds do. Love, love, love!!!

I have loved my Bodipedic contour memory foam pillows purchased about 4 years ago. I bought two more recently and though the contour and support are the same as my old pillows, I'm disappointed that Bodipedic has eliminated the cotton covers that my old pillows have. Without the covers the pillows have a strong smell, are discolored, and feel a bit warmer against my body. I don't like this change. I love the support they give my neck and back but these other issues aren't pleasant. I will purchase pillow covers for these pillows and hope this makes the difference. I would still recommend these pillows because since using them I have never had a neck or upper back issue caused by the position of my head while sleeping.

My wife enjoys the firmness of the pillow. Only time will tell if firmness and plumpness remain. The length and width are good for a 5'7" person. The smell dissipated fairly quickly when the pillow expanded after delivery. I wish there was a little more specification guidance when trying to match a pillow cover, but perhaps body pillows are inherently non-standard.

I am pleased with my decision to purchase these pillows. They arrived in less than a week from the date that I placed the order. The pillows were allowed to air for a day before using them. When sleeping on them the first night, we didn't notice a chemical odor at all. They do allow air flow; however, I personally feel they are more comfortable when using a breathable pillow protector due to the pillow's "rubberie" material. If a breathable protector was already included, it would rate five stars. My husband and I noticed the difference in the improved quality of our sleep from the first night we slept on them. In fact, we were so impressed that we ordered the associated three inch breathable memory foam mattress topper. Our bed is so comfortable, it 's now hard to part company with it in the mornings. My husband's snoring has also reduced significantly since using his new pillow; and since adding the matching memory foam mattress topper and breathable protector, we both awaken in the morning feeling better rested and with significantly less body aches. Great products!

I like everything about the pillow except the weight of it. But that is easy to overlook because of the comfort it provides. I used to use two comforters and multiple pillows to try to get comfortable. Now I just use the body pillow and the memory foam head pillow and I sleep comfortably and sound. Best thing I could've done for myself. Wish I did it a long time ago.
You spend a third of your life with your head on a pillow, so a memory foam pillow may be worth your attention. Memory foam has become popular in recent years as people have discovered what a difference it can make, but you don't have to invest in an entire memory foam mattress to get a great night's rest: Just a pillow can make a difference. Here are some facts that can help you find the best memory foam pillow for you.
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses

You never realize how many muscles it takes to turn your head until you have a stiff neck, and the wrong pillow can leave your neck stiff for days. A good pillow, however, provides the neck and back support you need, and this depends on how you sleep and what you're looking for in a pillow. Compare the qualities of down pillows and memory foam pillows to see which will provide you with the comfort level you need.
Many people have heard of memory foam mattresses, but few can tell you what they are made from. Memory foam is a combination of polyurethane and additional ingredients which increase foam's viscosity and density. It was originally developed by NASA to improve the safety of their aircraft cushions, but now, it's used in mattresses, pillows, and other bedding. The soft and inviting material is what makes these mattresses so appealing to people looking for a good night's sleep.
Foam bedding is becoming more and more popular, but traditional memory foam is usually the often the only type you hear about. Did you know that latex foam bedding has been available for years and is preferred by some to memory foam? Here is more information about the strengths of both traditional memory foam and latex foam, so you can decide which bedding is right for you.
A good pillow can make all the difference between a restful night and a not-so-restful one. In fact, sleeping with the proper pillow can help with back or neck pain, as it can align your body to minimize such problems. For most people, the way a pillow feels is the most important factor in choosing one. Still, there are some things you should look for in all quality pillows, regardless of the filling. Take a look below to learn how to choose a good pillow.
One sleepless night may not seem like a big deal, but what if it becomes many? Without sleep, you lose energy, your health suffers, and the quality of your day-to-day life suffers. Gel memory foam is a soft, durable solution that can help you get back the quality sleep you've been missing. These products -- pillows, mattress toppers, and mattresses -- provide comfort and support to help with several sleep-related problems.
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
