I love the softness & coolness of this pillow so much I ordered a 4" for my son who also suffers back & shoulder pain. I have the 6" & it ended up @ my back. My son & I agree that both pillows are too dense for either of us. It would be so great if we could purchase a( 3 INCH pillow.) There must be others who have the same problem. Could the company check that out? I ordered 2 of these pillows for a friend who had back surgery & she is so happy with them. Most certainly are great, comfortable pillows & I speak from years of experience.

Slept on this well reviewed pillow one night and woke up with a neck pain. I am a side sleeper, used to a 3-4 inch thick pillow. This pillow was way too thick.

I've had this pillow for approx. 3 months. I ordered it a few weeks after I received my 14 inch Comfort Dream memory foam mattress. The pillow compliments the mattress well. The 6 inch pillow adds great support while sleeping on my side and is very comfortable while lying on my back. I didn't expect this much comfort in both positions with one pillow. I can't say enough about the mattress either.

We are pleased with the Bodipedic Memory Foam pillow. Chose Bodipedic because we have been so pleased with the 3 inch mattress topper we bought first. With the pillow my hands are not getting numb as much. It is well made and has a cloth cover plus a zip on pillow cover that can be taken off and washed, I like that. It should outlast several regular pillows.

Rated quality and value good and not excellent b/c i've only had for a week but will be excellent if it holds up. It appears to be a quality pillow. I've gone through all of XXXXXXXXXXX pillows and those are a joke b/c it's a 2 inch layer of memory foam wrapped around fluff. Tried their side, back and belly sleeper and none worked. Tempurpedic is a bit too firm IMHO and way overpriced. This thing is pure memory foam and just the right height for me to sleep on my back, side or belly. Some nights i'm on my back the whole night and some I'll go through all 3 positions. Some pillows are so soft they sink all the way leaving your neck at a bad angle and sore. some so firm that it's a bad angle the other way and sore. This thing gives just enough for my head to sink in and stops at the right point to still offer support. First night or two took some getting used to but i'm sleeping through longer each night. I've now used i for a full week. Just give it a try =)

Get it. thats all I have to say. The cover is awsome and soft. I hug the pillow when I sleep and this pillow accomodates that perfectly. Its good for back sleeping as well. very soft and forms to my head. slept like a baby the very first time I used it. I have a average sized head, Im 5'10" 175 lbs, but Its very soft and dosn't require a ton a pressure for it to conform to your head. I have no doubt in my mind that a person with a lighter head can enjoy this. the back is brown and kind of velvet feeling. It is awsome. I am very pleased. Too bad it went on sale like 3 days after I ordered it! Its well worth every penny though and I will definately buy another one if I need to. I also have the 8 inch serta memory foam mattress so I am in sleep heaven.

I bought two of these pillows. My husband loves his but it did take a little getting used to. I find mine to be a little too thick. I have now puchased the four inch pillow. This is a VERY firm pillow, great for side sleepers. It is a very good quality and I still use my 6 inch pillow for watching TV in bed. The four inch pillow is much softer and actually does not appear to be four inches, more like 2½-3. I would recommend if you like a really firm, thick pillow.

This is a described as a 6 inch pillow. I was hesitant about ordering pillows through the mail but I have been looking for a thick pillow for a long time. Well, this is not it. This pillow measured 2-1/2 inches thick, maybe 2-3/4 inches if you stretched it. The only way it measured 6 inches was if you doubled it over. Ordering this was a BIG mistake - now I have to pay *** to ship the two pillows back.

I bought 2 of these a week ago. We already had 3 Tempurpedic pillows ? 2 shaped & 1 traditional. We were looking for some memory foam pillows for our vacation home and after considering price & reviews we chose these. They arrived several days ago so we gave them a try at home. They are very soft compared to what we were used to. My wife loves her ?regular? shaped Tempurpedic ? it is firm, full, yet easily molds to and supports your head. I must say that I love it also. These new ones are far softer ? somewhere between a plain foam pillow and the Tempurpedic. Don?t misunderstand me, they are memory foam & very comfortable, but they lack the substance I was expecting. I believe I read somewhere in their product description that they use 4lb foam, perhaps the issue. Also, the pillows are not a solid piece of foam; they are perforated throughout with ¼ inch holes for ventilation. This may also contribute to what I perceive as a lack of substance. Perhaps this design will eliminate what my wife calls the ?summertime hot pillow?. The chemical odor was there as usual but was minimal. It?s been a week now and there still is a faint smell -- but very bearable?it?s almost gone. All in all, they are OK. Last night my wife went back to her Tempurpedic so ?she could get a good night?s sleep?. That sounded worse than it is. These are simply different than what we?ve been on for the past 5 years. I?ve used them for nearly a week now and am getting accustomed to the feel. I suppose, if I were to do it over again, I would shell out the money for the Tempurpedics and have none of these regrets. The worst case will be that these new ones end up in our guest room & we buy what we should have in the first place.

Terrific pillows to compliment my 3 inch memory foam mattress topper. Now I am fully foamed out! Love it and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good nights sleep. Firm but flexible.

The pillow is very well made and if someone was looking for a flatter pillow I would have no problem recommending it. My issue is that the photos seem to make it look 3 inches thicker than the pillow I received. Got this to replace an old latex pillow because of a neck injury and it looks like I will continue looking for that replacement

I like this pillow alot but it is pretty small. I have a Cali king size bed and looking at this pillow, I'm guessing its just a queen even though the listing for it said king/queen. Its squishy and compresses to about 2-3 inches which is ok but it took some getting used. Overall, I would buy it again.
