  We handed down an old Tempur-Pedic mattress to our son, who prefers a firm mattress. Based on reviews, we ordered this in hopes of making the old mattress more to his taste. It does seem to help. There was a slight odor when we unpacked the topper - my son is picky about that - but it was fine after leaving it to sit unrolled for a few days in the living room. The queen size topper is slightly different in dimensions than the mattress, but he was able to tuck it under the mattress cover without difficulty. (Note: We initially received the wrong item. Overstock handled this well in an online chat, provided a return label for the wrong item, and sent the correct one on an expedited basis.)

  This mattress pad is great. I have a firm mattress in my spare bedroom and was not willing to buy a new one, but I knew it couldn't be comfortable for guests. Sure enough, this fits well under the fitted sheet, leaves a smooth surface (not eggshell), and it is SO comfy.

  While I read plenty of review of this item, I didn't know if these were just written by those that didn't travel much or weren't exposed to comfort. HOWEVER, this mattress topper is AWESOME!!! I got a middle of the night call and went into our guest room to discuss the details. I laid on the bed while I awaited the follow up calls to come in and i couldn't believe how comfortable it is. My kids have each tried out the bed with the new topper and both have requested one for their beds! Its really nice and a cheap alternative to a new costly mattress. It did have the odor a bit but I just left it out to air out as recommended and it was fine in a couple days. This mattress topper is great!

  Mattress has helped with arthritis in hips at night. Everything was as described by Overstock. Shipping was timely, however, customer service was incorrect on shipping dates.
