This is an incredible product. Bought it to put on top of a $1,200 mattress we bought just 6 months ago. Have never slept better. We liked it so much we bought one for all of our kids!

I bought this because i had a previous gel foam mattress that I loved, but have been a bit disappointed in this one because I sink down in it too much and it is hard to move on it. The recovery of the foam takes too long. I have ordered a latex foam to replace it. This acts more like memory foam without the gel. Overstock has an egg crate gel foam 4" by Slumber solutions that is much easier to turn on. The recovery is faster and offers more comfort.

Granted, I have a very small apartment and it is winter, meaning no windows are being opened. I left the pad out for a day to "air out" as suggested but essentially, it was just leeching into the trapped air in my apartment. I have had sleep pads before with no issue. My kids have them for their beds at school with no problem. But just be wary and consider where you are putting the pad and make sur...

Sent to son at college per his request as his roommate has a similar foam pad. He was very thankful, reporting its added comfort. No complaints.
