This bedding has a nice deep brown color to match your room if you have dark wooden furniture. The gold doesnt pop unless you have alot of light. It's really luxurious and the quality is excellent its a mix of shiny material and velvet pieces. I was searching an "arabian" bedding look and the picture showed it off well but in person it doesnt look as arabic textured as I thought. Other than my personal taste this was a great bedding I would recommend it to anyone who just needs to update their bedroom. There was nothing wrong with it when I got it I feel like I just traveled tO another store and got a bed in a bag for less! Thanks Overstock.com!!

I am very pleased with this set, although the color is a bit deeper than the picture. The comforter is oversized and weighty. The underside of the comforter is very soft and smooth, nothing to pull or snag (so far!) Getting the four shams was a real bonus. This set looks and feels like it cost several hundred dollars. The three throw pillows are beautiful and luxurious - I have paid $25 apiece for individual throw pillows in the past, and they were nowhere near this quality. This is a remarkable value for the money and the quality so far seems quite good; time will tell how it wears. The gold embroidery and quilting on the accessories make this set stunning. Using all 9 pieces makes my queen-size bed look huge and very high-end.

I have been looking for a comforter set for months. I pruchased one from a reliable department store, it fell apart in a matter of weeks. I came across this set and read every single rating. I was extremely pleased with this set. At first ,I was very concerned because I have a Cal. King and there was only a King available. This comforter is over-sized and fit perfectly with a little room to spare. The comforter is rich elegent, and very pleasing to the eye. Yes, there are complaints about that you can't see the gold. Don't give that a second look. I don't have one complaint. The value was well worth it.

I bought this product a week ago, and thought the picture looked great . However, when I place it on my bed, I do not like the color, its too dull, and I definately do not like the play of the light with the gold designs. They only show up in certain places and disappear as you move around the room. Anyway I still think it was a good buy, with lots of stuff for your money, and the comforter is warm and somfortable.

Got this yesterday, and it is fantastic! Very beautiful color of brown, in the pics it shows almost a red color or maroon but it is brown with gold edging around the pillow and comforter. I have cats and they have not snagged it so far. This would be very expensive in your local superstore and without getting all of the extras, some of the pillows are made with velvet and satin like material. They are worth $20.each alone. My cherry furniture really does enhance the set. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Very rich dark brown. I ordered the cal king to fit my king and glad I did. It fits wonderfully. This is a wonderful set at any price. Its comfortable and warm. My boyfriend loved it as well. The bonus pillows and shams look great. The gold is intwined in the chocolate so at the corners it picks up the gold where the material bends. The more light, the better the set looks as it does reflect the light. I am so pleased with the look.

The color is darker than the picture, but the gold color is a very true gold and looks wonderful. The whole thing looks great and fits great on our king bed. The bed skirt has slits at the corners so it accommodates for our foot board. It is also a somewhat cheap stretchy velvet, but still looks good. The comforter is very light and warm (before I used 2 or 3 blankets to stay warm). My only complaint really, is that the 2 sides of the comforter are held together in the middle only by about 1.5in straight stitch segments... so I worry that after a while the batting will clump or gather. It's also wrinkly, but it'll probably flatten out over time. Very high quality fabric and edgings other than that and it definitely was worth the money. A great buy.

I love this comforter set. It is just beautiful! The quality is outstanding, the colors are rich and the entire ensemble makes the room come alive. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I will note, however, it did take a lot longer to arrive than (shipping) I anticipated:)

I have to admit I was a bit unsure of what this item would be like when it arrived, but I took the word of a friend who ordered a similar set. I was concerned by how small the box was when it arrived, but I needed be! The colors, texture and quality on this set is wonderful. It would easily sell in the stores for double this price. It is not top of the line, but for the money, it is a GREAT deal. I would highly recommend this set to others! The only drawback I found was the dust ruffle, the irridescent is dark at an angle it sometimes looks black. Still a beautiful set and that would not deter me from purchasing.

I just got this comforter set this week and I love it. It looks beautiful on my bed and the way the light hits the gold threads..It is just beautiful. This is a very good quality set. A great value for the price I paid.

Love the look and feel of this new comforter set. It dresses up the bedroom very nicely. My husband likes it because he doesn't feel it is either too feminine or masculine. The value for this nine piece set was really good. I had looked at a lot of stores before going on line and picking this one. Overall, we are super satisfied.

on the whole this is very nice. i was surpirsed to get so many extras meaning extra shams and pillows. the reason i didn't give it a 5, as if you look at the comforter when its on the bed from either side of the bed, the gold on it looks in parts that it is not there, but if you look at from the foot of the bed and look at it at that angle you can see the gold, looking from the side at first i was thinking it was damaged and was going to send it back, but then again looked at it from the foot of the bed up the gold was there in all areas. its strange. the color is a deep choc brown, very nice, i have gold valances and it brings out the gold. for the price its a good by.
