obviously this is a taupe brown in the photo - I think very close to a gray - so I'm not sure about all the complaints about the color.

This coverlet was not the brown-gray as the photo portrays, but it was exactly what I was looking for. It was the perfect silver color to match my sheets and my decor. It's also not too thick, which I love!

I got this quilt set in and my first impression was that the color is way off from the picture. The picture on the website is the same picture on the packaging. In that picture it appears to be a very dark, rich brown. The color also appears flat, as in made from a normal cloth. The actual quilt is more of a shiny silvery brown. Its not a deep dark color at all, rather it has kind of a glossy or silky sheen to it.Its not exactly what I wanted, but its not bad. I still like it and think it is a great value. Just beware that the color in this picture isnt what you will get.

I am so happy with this coverlet! I needed a light quilt to put on our bed for the summer. This one is absolutely perfect. The size fits our king bed quite nicely. We have microfiber siderails that go to the floor and there is enough of the quilt to tuck into the siderails. It looks great. The quilt isn't real thick but gives the right amount of warmth in the middle of the night when I want something more than a sheet to cover me. The fabric has a great texture to it. It's a very simple coverlet, but it really looks classy on my bed. The color looks exactly how it does in the picture. And the price was so reasonable. Especially for the quality of the coverlet. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

This was not at all what I expected. The fabric is shiny with a silver tone to it - not the rich chocolate brown pictured. I'll be returning this.
