Tweed? not so much.
the description calls it a natural jacquard weave tweed. what is doesn't say is that it's glittery, brown and not at all a "tweed". wish I had read geowhiz's review before I bought it. the quality is nice enough, but it's not what I was expecting at all.

description lacks
While this is a cool looking shower curtain, I was quite surprised to see shiny gold woven into the fabric. It is more glittery than expected. Not "natural" as the description states. I also don't really see any jacquard weave in it either.. I found that it also doesn't hang real well, but it could be the hooks I am using (metal "J" hoops). You can see the liner very clearly at the top. I'm used to the outer curtain covering the liner pretty much completely. It's a contemporary curtain (which I wanted), but not with shiny gold threads in it. If you like gold intertwined with a bronzish/brownish look then you'd like it. I said I'd recommend it to a friend but only if I thought they'd like this look... I will keep it till I find something better.
