I was so excited to order this set because the pictures looked so beautiful. I needed something to give my bedroom a lighter feel. I was so dissapointed when it arrived, because it looks nothing like the picture. The comforter is a greenish, light brown/dark tan color - not the tan and white color like in the photo. The shams are dark as well. Beware, it looks nothing like the picture!!

The comforter was true to size and it looked wonderful but I found it a little too scratchy for me. I think it may have been the threading used in making the comforter. If you do not use it to cover up with, it would probably be fine.

My husband recently made me a padded headboard. I have been trying to find an outfit that will match the colors in the cloth that he chose for the padded area. This was not only a good color, but makes the bed look absolutely stunning. It is beautiful, I am only sorry that it did not come with window treatments.

I was very pleased with my purchase. It is a very good quality comforter set for the price.

This is a beautiful set, it has a slight metallic look, very rich and classy looking.

To those considering this purchase be wary of one thing; the feel of the fabric. While the lining is soft, the patterned material is a bit rough, and I hope it will improve with washing. The dark portions are closer to brownish gold than cream. It does look lovely though, and I hope it becomes softer with wear, tear and wash, as most towels, sheets and comforters do.

I read the reviews before purchasing, so knew that the center looked white in the picture but was actually a combination of taupe and white threads giving it more of a taupe appearance with a hint of white. It actually is prettier than I expected and the fabric is silky feeling. I am very happy with my purchase. I wasn't expecting to buy a set that also included euro pillow covers besides the standard shams, so I will now purchase square euro pillows. In addition, the two decorative pillows included with this set are nice looking and nice quality too.

A nice set but better suited for a guest room rather than every day wear. Would work better in a setting with color as it does not show as well in my room of whites and browns. Has an elegant look and is complete with the bed skirt and pillows.

I am pleased with my purchase. The only complaint I have is that the filling began to bunch, slightly, where it folds over the bottom of the mattress. The filling may smooth out after laundering, or it may get worse; time will tell.

If you want your comforter to look like the picture, do not bother with this one. Cost me a lot to return it. Material was cheap and dark. I wanted a lighter look for the spring. This is very dark, gold to green. It depends on how much natural light you have. It is still dark. Feels really cheap. I was really disappointed. Was not even close to the picture.

I have to agree with the last person...this looks nothing like the picture. The colors are totally different and do not go with my decor. If it had the same colors as the pictures shows, it would be great. Now I have to start my search for a beautiful comforter all over again. Not happy.

This was my first purchase from Overstock.com. I can tell you that it will not me my last. I love, love this comforter set. It is just what I have been shopping for. It is nice and large....fits very well over the oversized mattresses. I added a throw pillow or two for a pop of color and WOW!! The service I received from Overstock.com was great. It arrived much earlier than I expected. The price was unbeatable....plus I got a special on delivery.....GREAT BUY.....GREAT PRODUCT.

this is a nice set for your room. It does look different from the picture however. It is much more elegant in person. It has a sheen to it and is darker in color - maybe a greenish-brown sheen. I like it, I'm sure I will keep it on my bed for a while. I didn't use the dust ruffle as I have a nice wood rail and don't need it. The price was good for what you got. I may have to re-paint my room to go with the colors a little better!

Color in photo appears a bit lighter than actual comforter, but still love it.

This comforter set was my first purchase on overstock.com. I am now a believer! It arrived and like other reviewers, I was a bit concerned about the colors--the set is taupe and platinum. It is absolutely stunning on our bed. The quality of the fabric is wonderful and the entire set is a great value. My favorites pieces are the decorative pillows included in the set. They bring it all together and add that "model home" wow factor to the entire ensemble. Gorgeous!

I was a little skeptical when I first placed the order. I have been looking for a while for a new comforter and could not find exactly what I wanted. When it came in and I put it on my bed, I loved it. It has a nice shimmer to it that really adds to the look. The picture might look to have white but there is no white and that was a good thing.

Love it, however it does have a slight green tint to it.

This is absolutely stunning. It has a shimmer that is so elegant. I purchased this for a guest room and it is perfect. I accented it with some navy shams and navy and cream sheers and WOW. I did not use the Euro Shams because I wanted to be able to see my wrought iron headboard, but may use them on a bench - will see. My husband was as impressed as I was, so thank you again for another winning purchase!

My husband and Iove our new comforter set. It's hard for us to agree on a pattern and style that we both love. It arrived quickly and I couldn't wait to put it on our bed. It is beautiful in style and color. I would recommend this set to anyone. I only wish that I could buy it in pieces because we don't use a dustruffle. So I have extra parts but it's still worth the cost.

From the picture online, it looks white and beige, but it is platinum and taupe and has a sheen to it. At first I thought, oh no, but when I got it on my California king bed it was beautiful and fit wonderfully as I have a deep mattress. I am adjusting my room's color scheme to match the set.
