I bought this set to "freshen up our Master Suite" The set is beautiful. The comforter is very short. If you use multiple pillows on your bed, the comforter cannot cover the pillows or it will fall short at the bottom. It is also very narrow. It shows some of the sheets just above the skirt. The throw pillows are not made well either, but you have to really be looking to tell. The shams are great. I was just a little disappointed with the set, but it does make a great difference in my room. The colors in the picture appear to be blue, but they are a light sea foam green. Do not purchase this set if you have a pillow top matress.

I purchased this product for our newly designed bedroom hoping that it would be the finishing touch. When we received the product it looked wonderful. However, after putting it on the bed we quickly realized a few faults that this set has. 1. The comforter is small. This would be better suited for a full or twin size bed. It barely reaches 6" down on each side of our bed. 2. The fabric snags VERY easily. I have already snagged the comforter a few times with my jewelry and nails. 3. The fabric is not very soft. However, despite all the negatives surrounding the comforter. The remainder of the set is beautiful. It does look elegant, it does catch your eye, and it was a great price. However, if I saw this in a store and would have been able to see/feel it. I probably would not have purchased it.

I am pleased with this comforter set. It is very rich in colour. The comfort is very light and great for summer sleeping. I am however concerned that it may not be particularly warm in the winter.

This comforter is OK and I am keeping it because it works in my room. PROS: 1) The colors are very rich and it has an overall luxurious look to it. 2) It is quite thick and warm. 3) The included shams and pillows are nice. CONS: 1) It is much smaller than any king-size comforter I have owned previously. It barely reaches the foot of the mattress when pulled up over pillows and overhangs on the sides only approximately 6 inches. The picture on Overstock showing it hanging off the foot of the bed about two feet is very deceptive. 2) It is much darker than the Overstock picture makes you think. Their photo has definitely been manipulated to make the colors appear brighter. The green in it is a very light, minty green and the red color is like the color of dried blood. The browns and golds are very dark. 3) The top fabric is very easily snagged and has a rough texture to it that some people may not like.

The colors are much richer than they appeared on screen. Very dark beautiful brown and excellent coordinating colors. Comforter is light in weight and has a nice full look. The pillows are a terrific bonus. The comforter has a nice sheen that is also not apparent in the web site photos. Our room has a whole new look with the addition of this very modern set.

nice set for the price, looks just as nice in person, material nicer than expected.

Thank you for the beautiful colors chosen for the Mahattan Comforter set, It adds a warm and enviting feeling into the bedroom. There is a paint color made by Behr, called, Wheatfield, painted on the bedroom walls, they compliment the other quite well. The Comforter Set adds a flair to the room that is noticable as soon as you enter the room. Very welcoming....I would certainly recommend this product to a friend or family member. Thank you again. I look forward to another purchase with the O!!!

This set looks good and is fairly comfortable but it will not last long. I would not recommend it if you have kids or pets. However, its good for low to moderate use like in a guest room.

Not the colors I had hoped for. Snags easily. It is warm for the price.

I love this set as far as the looks, but am afraid that it may pull easily...one of the shams came with a snag on it...

snagged easily - didn't hold shape - very pretty colors and would be excellent if you don't have cats or dogs in the house.

Stylish and expensive looking. However, material is thin and snags easily, thus ruining the comforter. I'm using this in a guest bedroom, but I don't recommend it for everyday use.

Overall the comforter set is fine or okay. From a distance "the flaws" are not too noticeable. The decorative stitching or embroidery is of poor quality and that is coming from an embroiderer. It could be the quality of the thread. I have been disappointed by the pulling and ravelling. It remains to be seen what age will do to the product;; I haven't had it very long.

The picture does not do the product justice. The colors are more vibrant and it is a beautiful bedding set for the price. I could not believe how heavy the quilt was (I expected it to be flimsy and lightweight) but it is the quality of much higher priced quilts. The decorative pillows are well made. I absolutely love this product and am extremely happy with it.

The product is not cloth like. It slips off of your sheets white you are sleeping. Plus it pulls really easliy, for example if you have a hang nail and get it caught on the comfortor it will actually pull strings out. I would only buy stuff off this sights if I can see it says cloth otherwise I am not purchaseing anything.

First of all the reason I bought this set was because I had recently remodeled my bathroom and purchased a shower curtain set from xxxxxx and then I was lookling thru Overstock and I saw the matching comforter and I am serious, exact match...looked great, made me happy, all is well today! :-)

I bought this as a wedding gift expecting a basic comforter set. WOW, was I surprised. The fabrics are beautiful and not the basic cotton. There are silk accents on the decorative pillows, shams, and dust ruffle. The colors are as rich as in the picture. I was proud to have this opened at the wedding!

I had been looking for a comforter that would compliment my mint green walls and still match existing drapes and table covers. The colors are extremely close to those pictured. I am very pleased with the richness of the colors, which is only enhanced by the decorative pillows and shams. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, and Overstock as a whole for an easy online shopping experience.

The quality is good but colors are different than the picture. Expected it to have richer colors.

This comforter is cheaply made and did not hold up well. It snagged easy, unraveled and balled up. I'd suggest you not waste your money.
