Contrast of this feminine duvet to a reclaimed wood bed frame make this a perfect bedouir. Love it.Read More
I've actually bought this duvet cover set twice now, first time in the white color and more recently in the ivory/khaki color. I love the style and the fact that it is lightweight enough to put it in a regular sized washing machine and dryer. I don't like satiny/shiny materials with sheen and this is perfect for me - a matte cotton finish that is crisp but not crusty-feeling/cheap if that makes sense. I've had the darker color for a few months now, so let's see how it holds up with numerous washes (I wash usually 2x/month due to pet hair etc) but I can attest to the fact that the white color one was quite durable, even after lots of washes with bleach.Read More
I like this duvet cover because it looks very classy and nice when all layed out and fit on your bed! The comforter part that's inside the duvet moves around sometimes but it's an easy fix and im a restless sleeper so that's why! All in all I love this productRead More
I'm the neat-freak type that needs to have my bed looking plush and chic and beautifully made every morning. This set, because of the wrinkly design, looks super ultra expensive and classy. After washing it for the first time, it came out even MORE wrinkled and crinkled...which I feel ADDED to the beautiful look! The fabric is very very soft, and the ties on the inside keep my down comforter from bunching up (ugh, that's the worst!). Also, the color of this set was very important to me because I'm the type to accidentally fall asleep with my makeup on. My makeup color matches the set, so you can't really see any foundation marks on the bedding! And the mascara marks that you CAN see, wash out very well. Duvets that I've had in the past do not wash nearly as well as this one does. And the little throw pillow that comes with it is so cute! My sheets are white and my other throw pillows are white with brown accents, so everything goes together perfectly. This set makes me feel like I'm sleeping on $$$ bedding. I would totally recommend it to anyone.Read More
i have this in white for my queen size bed. I really like it, so I bought this one for my king. The sides DON'T even cover the standard depth mattress. Definitely check the sizing before you wash and get rid of packaging.Read More
The linens seemed to be of good quality, but the "natural" color is really a khaki, instead of the ecru color shown in the photo. I sent it back and re-ordered in the white, which the reviews indicate is more of a cream.Read More
This is a great base piece. In my opinion it doesn't serve well for your only dressing for your bed. In that vein it can look like somewhat of a wrinkled mess. However, as a base piece it works wonderfully. It a a great neutral tea-stained sort of beige. Mine is folded at the end of my bed. Add some coordinating toss pillows with a little bit of dimension (fur, textured, sparkled) and a coordinating blanket or coverlet over your sheets to add some contrast and you have a well dressed bed! The great neutral color also lends itself to changing coordinating pillows and such which is great if you like to change things up a lot (like myself).Read More
Very nice - color darker, but very nice. SIZE NO GO - Full, order Queen. Queen, order King. King, DO NOT ORDER unless you like 4" overhang on each side. SO DISAPPOINTED - must ship back.Read More
Beautiful set! So chic, fits our king down alternative comforter very well. It's a well made set and will be easy to keep clean. We got the khaki color and its true to description, it's not an ivory or even a beige, it's a true khaki. It had a slight smell due to packaging but that went away within a few hours. Overall, it's a great purchase and we are very pleased. Shipping took a little longer than expected but was definitely worth it for the price and the quality of the product.Read More
The quality and fit of this item seems ok but the color is totally different from the pictures and the description. It's more of a khaki than cream or beige. I am exchanging it for the white one which the reviews say is more of an off white. Wish I read more reviews of this one before I waited a week for it to come to just have to spend more time waiting for the return to go thru before I re order the lighter one.Read More
Questions & Answers
doesn't require ironing at first, has the wrinkle look. but after you wash it it will require ironing
It will look wrinkled, but in my opinion, the extra wrinkles ADD to the desired look. And the wrinkles do fade out after a couple of days.
Is the fabric see-through or is it thick? Looking to put an existing comforter into it for a new look but do not want to give up the warmth of the old comforter. It has strong colors in it and do not want it to show through.
I put a white comforter in it and cant' see through the bedding. There was an extra layer on the side that people would see. Dont' know if a printed comforter or duvet would show or not.
Wants to know if this has a zipper or button
Thank you for your question dj00111. The Madison Park Newport Cotton 4-piece Duvet Cover Set has a zipper closure. Have a great day.
Uhh, nope, not a zipper closure. I ordered the khaki and it has buttons. I like it. It also has ties on the inside to keep the comforter from sliding around.

This material is easy to care for and machine washable. For fall, choose earthy colors like beige, brown, dark green or burgundy for a seasonal look. Duvets vs Down Comforters
A new duvet or down comforter is a fast, easy way to change the look of your bedroom decor. These bed coverings can also keep you warm and toasty on a cold winter's night. Traditionally, the word duvet, a French word meaning "down," was interchangeable with down comforter. Today, however, when most Americans say the word duvet, they are actually referring to a duvet cover. Duvet covers are made to slip over many different types of comforters, whereas a down comforter can be used as a standalone bed covering. How to Choose a Motorcycle Cover
A motorcycle cover is a smart way to keep your motorcycle in good condition. Like any vehicle, a motorcycle is vulnerable to the outside elements. Hail, wind, rain, and snow can all damage a motorcycle's finish and make it look worn beyond its years. Protective motorcycle gear will save you money in the long run, helping keep your bike in showroom condition. A motorcycle cover is a small investment that can help cut down on repairs for your motorcycle. Even motorcycles that are parked in a garage aren't impervious to falling debris or dings from car doors. A motorcycle cover is a must, particularly if your bike sports special extras, such as leather saddlebags or a custom paint job.
How to Wash Throw Pillows
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.
How to Store a Patio Umbrella for Winter
When summer winds down, it's time to start thinking about clearing off the patio. Begin by putting away patio furniture before winter sets in. Typically, patio furniture and table covers do the job. However, if patio umbrellas are stored incorrectly, mold and mildew can grow on them, leading to an unpleasant surprise the following spring when you want to set them back outside.
Best King Bedspreads for Summer
When summer comes, you won't want a king bedspread that weighs you down. Commonly used as a term to encompass several types of coverlets and lightweight blankets, bedspreads add a finished look to your bedroom without the added bulk of plush cotton comforters and down-filled duvets. King bedspreads allow you to get a restful night's sleep without sacrificing style. Finding summer bedding for your king sized bed is a breeze with this guide, so keep reading to learn all about the best king bedspreads for summer.
Tips on Buying Bedskirts
Your bedroom set isn't complete without a quality bedskirt. Bedskirts not only put a classy finishing touch on your bedroom decor; they also cover up the space beneath your bed so that you can store items there without ruining the look of your bedroom. While bedskirts are fairly simple to shop for, keeping a few tips in mind can ensure that you find the perfect one.
How to Adjust the Height of an Office Chair
There are different styles and designs of computer or office chairs. Most new models are adjusted pneumatically. Pneumatic office chairs have a lever or a button below the seat that you can push or pull to adjust the height. Older computer chair models can be adjusted by turning a thick bolt (these bolts usually have a thick plastic molded cover with finger grips). Adjusting the height of your office chair to fit your body type is very important. Back ache and pinched nerves can occur otherwise -- especially after long periods of sitting.
How to Fluff Comforters
You know it's time to cover the beds with cozy comforters when there's a chill in the air and cold weather sets in. Bedding stored in moisture-resistant bags with the air removed will be clean, but it may be flat, too. Generally stored during the warm seasons, down comforters may become lumpy if the filling was unevenly distributed while they were packed away. Comforters currently in use that appear flat should be freshened, too. A simple fluffing will restore volume, making your bedding plush and cuddly for cold winter nights. Look below to learn how to fluff comforter sets.
