I bought this for my daughter's room. I was sticking to shades of purple and silver and this set is a perfect fit. The colours are a little darker than I expected but I am quite happy with my purchase.

Beware - the picture of this set is beautiful. The actual colors are MUCH different than shown. The pictures - both on the website AND the one that comes in the actual set show purples with an ivory or silver color. The purples depict the right shade. There is no ivory or silver - it is a DARK gray instead. It looks NOTHING like shown. I wonder if maybe these are "irregulars" and they had a problem with the dye lot and thus sent them to OS.com. I would think it was my computer, but you know how often a picture of the comforter is included in the packaging? It is the beautiful ivory silver color - not the ugly dark gray. I was VERY disappointed, but it is for my daughter's room and she thought that it was okay - so we kept it. If it weren't for the color - I would have been happy. The quality and feel of the fabric was very nice and it included 3 accent pillows which was nice. But - overall, sadly, it's just not the same as the picture looks

I fell in love with this set when I saw it online, but some of the reviews made me nervous. I am very happy with the purchase! I think the colors are very pretty together and the silver was not a dark grey like some people mentioned before me. It is VERY thick and heavy, perfect for winter. I was not aware the rouching was so thick so it feels a little awkward but I got used to it pretty quickly. It did have a slight smell out of the bag so I went ahead and washed it, probably not wise, I have a queen and there was a warning on the label to use a commercial washer/dryer, I have an oversized washer/dryer and it barely fit. I fluffed the pillows with a dryer sheet in the dryer to get rid of the smell. I love the bed skirt, I have cats and a dog and the cotton one I had would hold their fur and look dirty all the time, this one is poly and the fur doesn't stick when they brush up against it. If you're looking for a luxury purple ensemble I think this is it!

When this item arrived, and we placed it on the bed, we were very happy. The actual material and colors are much more luxurious than the picture portrays.

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME ORDERING FROM OVERSTOCK, & I WILL NEVER GO ANY PLACE ELSE.I ORDER THIS COMFORTER FOR MY DAUGHTER ,SHE WAS LOOKING FOR A PURPLE COMFORTER SET, BUT THEY WERE VERY EXPENSIVE.JUST THE COMFORTER WITHOUT THE PILLOWS WAS ALOT. WHEN SHE GOT THE COMFORTER SET , SHE CALL ME SAYING" HOW HAPPY SHE WAS". THAT MADE ME AS HER MOM GLAD. SO NOW I AM GOING CRAZY ON OVERSTOCK.

If you can get this on sale or with a coupon, it is the best deal around. I compared prices online and in stores (with coupons) and with this, you get the comforter, bed skirt, pillow shams and 3 pillows for less than $***. I was looking for purple with preferably grey, so I LOVE the pattern too! I also needed machine washable 'cause I have a dog. :)

Really, I may or may not recommend to a friend. It's good if you like that shade of purple but I personally didn't think it was the shade of purple in the picture.

Its not lined but it works. Color is the right eggplant shade.

It has been eight days and I have not received the item. since you do not ship to a military base or FPO address, I had to have the item shipped to another state side address and have a friend bring it back with them. It did not get to the address in time for someone to bring it back. it will be another month before someone will be in the area that it was sent to. so I paid for it and may never get it. why do you not send to a FPO address?

I purchased this set and it look nice. I like the decor. The only negative thing is the color is not as pictured. I was looking more for a white/beige color and the set is purple and grey.

Not the most expensive-looking comforter (a bit on the thin side), but the colors are gorgeous and work really well with the lavender-silver-black color scheme. Picked up a silver shag area rug that compliments the comforter set quite nicely. Am very happy with it (perfect for the guest room) and the price was right. Have no complaints with this set.

I absolutely love my bedspread. I receive compliments from everyone that sees it. I was not disappointed at all very good quality. True to color.I only added more fancy pillows to glam it up a little more.

The colors were exactly the same as the picture. The fabric is just what I expected & the lustre of the fabric gives it a classy & grand look. It is a very elegant set & matches with the color of the walls of the room. I happy with the product.

I ordered this set because we have the same design in blue/brown as a duvet cover and I really like that one. While I like having all the pieces (the bedskirt and the decorative pillow), I was a bit disappointed that the colors are much more of the pinky type of purple than the picture suggests (to me it looks more on the lavendar/bluish purple side in the pictures). Also, there are sections all over the comforter that have been sewn with black thread (you can see them in the picture if you look carefully, but they are much more noticable in person) that I'm not too happy with. I'm sure it's just to keep the batting in place, which is good, but they could have tried to match up the colors with the fabric so it wasn't so noticable. Otherwise, it is a nice weight that should be comfortable in the summer and a blanket could be added for more warmth in the winter.
