  • Pretty but flat and slippery.

    Overall, this bedding looks really nice when put together properly and I really like the way it looks in my room. I have gotten several compliments on it and I decided to keep it. Before buying, be warned of a few things: First of all, the color is actually off-white, not white. I have beautiful crisp white sheets underneath and it looks kind of weird because the duvet cover and pillow shams have a creamy tint to them. As long as you can't see the sheets inderneath, it still appears white. The color difference is only mild. Secondly, make sure you have a very fluffy duvet to go inside because otherwise it looks flat and provides ZERO warmth. My duvet is quite old so it doesn't look anything like the website photo but I imagine that if you had the proper duvet to go inside it would look just like it! Lastly, the inside fabric is very slippery so the comfortor tends to slide around inside. It isn't a deal breaker and can be fixed with some safety pins, but it is something to be aware of before purchasing.

    Very comfortable & I love the look my only complaints: -the duvet cover did not have internal buttons to attach my comforter too, so my bedding became bunched up easily and moved around. This issue was easily resolved; I sewed large buttons into each internal corner and attached my comforter. Everything stays put now, even through rough nights haha. - the material is rather thin, so a colored comforter or pillows would should through easily. However, the material looks good thin, and comparable duvet covers (from shabby chic) are just as thin / see-though. That seems to be the style. Shipped fast and a great buy for the price. I've seen similar duvet covers for a much higher price. This includes 2 pillow covers, a small throw pillow, and the duvet cover. Could use the duvet cover alone (without a comforter inside) during the summer - the material is double sided so it is pretty thick.

  • Beautiful Disaster

    Bought my duvet less than two months ago and fell in love with it the second I opened my package. I've gotten many compliments on it, and it definitely helped to complete the "posh" look I was hoping for in my room. However, I just finished washing and drying it for the second time since I've had it, and the lining inside somehow shredded and split right down the middle to the point that it's irreparable. I loved that this had so many raving reviews, and I was completely and totally happy with this product until tonight. I just don't understand how it came apart so fast when I've been so keen on following the directions so this wouldn't happen. If you've got the money to risk the possibility of it snagging or coming apart in someway, I say go for it. Otherwise, definitely proceed with caution.

    This duvet is beautiful! I trusted the reviews of others and I'm so glad I did! It's exactly what I was hoping for! - it's not bright white; it's off-white but not quite ivory. - it's pretty fluffy, even right out of the box. - even after washing/drying, the duvet keeps it's shape; very pretty - the material on the duvet and the 2 standard pillow shams match however the material on the small lumbar pillow is a lot thinner - you can actually see the insert through the material. (I will probably buy or make a separate cover for the small pillow later. Right now, it's in my closet). Also, the shipping on this order was extremely FAST! I got it 2 days after I placed the order!

  • Good product for a great price

    When I started to look for white bedding I found one just like this at *** for *** and that only include the duvet. I was thrilled when I found this one for almost half the price AND it included two shams and a pillow. The set arrived quickly and looks beautiful in my gray and yellow bedroom.   • lovely duvet

    I purchased this duvet cover for a much needed change in my bedroom. I wouldn't necessarily agree with the other reviewers that the white isn't "pure white". I also purchased white sheets and you can't tell a difference between the colors. The duvet cover is beautiful, however it is so wrinkly! I am sure I need to get it steamed, but that just seems like a waste to me. I think it brightens up any bedroom though!

  • Love my new duvet cover set!

    My daughter ordered this same duvet from Khol's & I already knew how much I loved it! She got hers on sale, but ordering through overstock was even cheaper. We have recently purchased a house and are in the process of remodeling. Can't wait to actually put the duvet to use. I love that it is 100% cotton!   • King too small :(

    I love the overall design of this duvet and the color is white, but not crisp white like others describe. We have a king size memory foam mattress (not a pillow top) and this barely covered the entire top portion of the bed. None of the sides were covered. The crisp white sheets underneath made the this duvet cover seem a bit dirty and I hated the fact that the sheets beneath weren't covered at all. Very unkept looking; I wanted something that appeared "relaxed" but not like I hadn't even bothered to try and make the bed. Unfortunately I will be returning this. :(

yes, but my duvet came with two ties in the inside on each corner and I just tied it to the corners of my comforter and it stays in place perfectly! cherylfitz on Mar 22, 2013
 
the bottom part is slick, but it has the loops/ties in the corners to tie your down-comfortor (if it is meant for duvets). It doesn't slide around on us at all, we just tie the ends in each time after washing. I love it! tveisenhauer on Apr 11, 2013

We have a great selection of white bed skirts that would match this comforter, please see item 14066285, the White Gathered Cotton Voile 18-inch-drop Bedskirt with Polyester Liner, this would grace the duvet very nicely, keeping the flowing lines, while complimenting and completing the look of tranquility. To be honest- I used the contrast/accent color from our room. In this case we have lavender walls with black and white decor. I put a black pleated bedskirt on to "anchor" the bed to the floor, visually. It is perfect. Pick a color you like and just go for it! ^^ megiddo on May 29, 2013
