It looks very different in person than pictured which is a disappointment. Also it was personally to sheer for me due to my down comforter not being white. My boyfriend also thought it didn't look like it would be to comfortable and I couldn't disagree. I wish it worked, it just didn't.
I've had this for almost two years now, and I'm still very happy with it. It's held up through washing and drying just fine. It looks beautiful on my bed. The ONLY gripe that I have is trying to dry it after washing. A little advice: Don't hesitate to buy this duvet cover if you like the look of it, but before you put it in the washer, make sure you button it up, or it'll turn itself inside out in ways you'll never untangle. Then, when you put it in the dryer, make sure it's completely spread out, and only set the timer for ten minutes or so at a time. If you use the "Til Dry" setting, or just let it go for however long it takes to dry, it will wad itself up into a big wet knotted ball that will take you a half an hour to undo. After washing it once a month or so for the last two years, I've finally figured out the best way to do it to save myself all that frustration, so I wanted to share. I've never seen this happen with any other duvet cover. It's odd and very frustrating, but knowing how to deal with it makes it all okay. After it's dry, and you get it back on your bed, with a nice fluffy down comforter inside, it looks absolutely gorgeous.
