I shop at Overstock quite a bit - but this time I am afraid I am going to return this item. It was a toss up between this set and one that cost much less. I opted to splurge on myself. I wanted the overall look to be like the picture.... a beautiful quilt with lots of piled up pillows. When I opened the package I found the quilt to be very pretty - loved the color. The pillows were the problem. It comes with one small round pillow (pretty) and a smaller stuffed pillow which had little diamond like jewels sewn on it - tacky looking. Then there were two solid shams (shown in the back in the picture). Those two shams are huge squares... no pillows I own would snuggle up in there...heck, I could put one of the sofa cushions in there with room to spare. I certainly did not mean to buy something that I would have to alter after I got it. The sheets feel like parachute material too. I have certainly been happy with other bedding from Overstock but this one is going back.

When I ordered this bedding set, I was worried that I was falling for the hype re quality and craftmanship, but this bedding set is wonderful in every respect. The sheets and pillowcases are 'silky' smooth cotton, the sewing, construction, fabrics, design, and fabric combinations are all great. The comforter is plush and full. I do believe I have $400 value in bedding for less than $140!!

Not exactly what I expected. The actual color is gold. I was expecting an ecru/taupe color. The comforter is pretty lightwieght and not really sufficient by itself for the winter. I do not dislike it, just wasnt what I originally had in mind. Still a good deal.

This set is nice - if your mattress is standard depth. However, if you have a pillow top or other thicker than average mattress, the comforter is too narrow and doesn't come down far enough on the sides. Manufacturers should be required to state this int he description, just as they do with fitted sheets.

I bought this set for my guest room. It was of a darker shade fabric than I had anticipated, but it is still very nice. I don't think I'll use the European Shams, but I like the decorative pillows that came with it. All in all it was a good buy.

I had been shopping for some time for the right bedding ensemble, and even on sale, they were much more expensive and had fewer pieces than this one did. This ensemble is very pretty on the bed, and it seems to be durable, too, as we have pets up and down on the bed all the time. Thanks for offering such a great value.

This bedding ensemble works for me, I purchased this around christmas time. I needed something that made a statement!!! And this sure did! Everyone loves it even my husband and he never comments on any of my bedding. I have yet not had to clean it and hope not to do so if I can help it, it's just for show. And it looks great I have other bedding for sleeping which I have purchased from Overstock and so far I give them all a 5 star. The fabric seems good nothing is falling apart,the color is great and it comes with so many pillows!! The fabric is very rich looking ! What a great price too,no one has to know but of cause some do ask .So just like I said it's just for show and tell..lol Sweet Dreams!!!

Maybe I did not read the product description well enough, but I would not have purchased if I knew that there were rhinestones sewn into one of the pillows and the allover pattern was a felty and iron on looking floral.

at first I thought it was too dark but after i put it on my bed it looked very elegant. i wish that there were some window treatments in the same design. i would have purchased valances to go with it. the design goes well in any neutral setting. very pleased.

I read the reviews and looked at the small photo. It is more greenish than gold and is really frilly. I wasn't expecting anything masculine such as solid blue but I wasn't expecting my lady friend to comment with "that seems very desert like, where's the oasis and palm trees"? I don't have that reference but she was correct in it was different. I am happy for those who love it but I am spending the $23.98 to return it.

This gorgeous comforter set was even more luxurious than I expected. It just makes my guest bedroom even more charmng, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I was very impressed with the quality of the bedding - it was a great bargain, good quality and I can't wait to get it assembled in my bedroom.

This is a very nice set. One of the best things is the neutral color and style of the bedskirt, sheets, shams, etc. so that it can be used with other quilts and spreads. The round pillow is very pretty - the rectangular one a little less so, the comforter is amazing. The flocking and shimmer, material, slight sheen and so forth make it a real winner. The only change I would have made is got the 8 piece - the pillows weren't worth the large difference in price - just my opinion. Overall, 4 stars.

I love the fabric...it's gorgeous...kinda gold and some darker gold color....I haven't put it on my bed as yet since we're redoing the room. Hopefully it will fit perfectly.
