The duvet is beautiful and fits well (king). It may even be a bit big. The shams, however, while made of the same fabric, are limp. They don't enclose like those with an opening in the middle, they just slip on like a pillowcase. Love the duvet. Not so much the shams.
This item came fast and was everything I wanted. Colored side has a shiny tint so it's not as soft as the white side. Some people may not like that, so that's why I gave quality as good. But I like that it's not as soft because it's easier to slide on and off the bed when you are sitting on it. It was a great price and exactly what I was looking for.
My bedroom colors are eggplant, lavender and gray. These pillow shams look wonderful and they wash and dry well. Could use a little ironing if you're a stickler...but I don't bother as my pillows stretch 'em out. I won't be using the comforter duvet 'til Fall/Winter.
I have had this duvet cover on a guest room bed for a couple months and so far I really like it. I ordered the gray color and it's very cute and modern. Although I have yet to wash it, so far it's holding up very nicely. The material is fairly thin but the buttons along the top seem to be pretty good quality.
I've had this duvet cover for 9 months. I wish that I could give it a "4" because it has implortant plusses. The material is smooth and lightweight; and, from what I've seen thus far, washes well. I don't run into problems with wrinkling; at least if I take the duvet out of the dryer immediately, When I ordered the cover, I was uncertain about the pattern. Would I like it? Would I be able to live with such a large pattern? In both cases, however, the answer has been "Yes." What is a "No" is the buttoning system. I don't like it. In my estimation, the buttons are too small and flimsy for the size of the duvet. As evidence of that, the material curls and gathers around the buttons. The rsult is that I worry about how long the buttons will last and whether the surrounding material will fray. I think that I would have preferred to see a plastic zipper, covered by a fold-over piece of material.
the black side up looks great on my bed - i find the white side to be too gaudy - the problem is that the fabric contains polyester making it way too hot to sleep under in the warmer months. great for winter but now i have to find another duvet for all the other seasons
The teal color is a bit darker than as shown (still like the color though) and the duvet cover is larger than my king down comforter (I would rather a tighter fit), but overall a good product. I live in TX, so the lightweight material is perfect.
