Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor.
We recommend that this item is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

Not Great - But Good
These pillows are not great, but good. What would make them perfect is if they had a little more "depth" to them. If you like to scrunch your pillow up underneath you these are great. BUT, if you just want to lay on the pillow in it's original shape, your head will sink to the bottom.

Wonderful pillows - incredibly comfortable and soft. They have retained their shape perfectly, and fluff up to huge in the morning. Like a cloud. There is no smell of down at all.

Perfect Soft Pillow
I have been looking for a softer down pillow for awhile. My husband bought down pillows last winter, but I couldn't stand them because they were too thick and firm--they are in the guest room now. Soft pillows are usually preferred by stomach sleepers. A thick/hard pillow isn't comfortable. As others have said, this pillow is perfect for scrunching! If you are a back sleeper this pillow probably isn't for you--you should look for a pillow labeled "firm". And firm is much easier to find than "soft". Anyway, this is a wonderful pillow if you want a soft one.

I initially thought these pillows were a bit on the pricey side. However after sleeping with them for a week I don't care what I paid for them. I have been hunting for the perfect pillow for a while. My old goose down pillows had gone flat as they were a few years old. I have ordered 4 different goose down alternative pillows from here with no luck. I came across these. I am so happy with them. I love to scrunch my pillows into balls under my head. They are a perfect match if you love to ball your pillows up. They don't offer too much stand alone support. I have to sleep with both to get the thickness needed for support. Other than that I have no complaints. I highly recommend them!

down pillows with 550 fill power
I was disappointed in the lack of down. In a few months these pillows will be flat. The fill power is lower than I thought. I ordered the 650 fill last year, and the pillow was too firm, so I thought the 550 fill would be just right. Not so! I wanted to return them until I read that I would be charged for the return and stocking fees. Next time I will buy at a department store so I can see and try the pillows before buying. Thank you

Great Goose Down Pillows
The product arrived quickly and was as described in the review. The pillows were soft and comfortable and were well made. I was able to use them immediately and was glad to replace the older ones.

I sent the pillows back, because I was looking for 100% DOWN and they definitely included feathers in the mix. However, the company was easy to deal with and the pillows were the perfect density for me.

Soft Goose Down pillows
Well made, very nice! The feathers don't poke through like some do. Even with the pillow covers on. Very soft and mushy. Which if you like a soft pillow that you can squeeze and hug and form to your position, this is the pillow for you!!! No regrets!

Tag says minimum of 75% goose down
I was very careful to read the description and the customer comments because these were to be given as a gift and the request had been for 100% goose down. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box to see a tag stating that they were at least 75% goose down! I was not a happy camper. But, Overstock heard my complaint and made a price reduction. I think the description also needs to be corrected. All that being said, the product is nice and my partner was happy with the gift.

Close as I could get!
We had two very old soft down pillows from when my husband was a child. When our daughter was about two years old she discovered them and has been addicted to them ever since! She calls them "cold pillow" (probably because the pillow case stays cool. Then for some reason I started having to sleep with one of them all the time. These are not exactly a pillow that you would sleep with your head on. It's more of a snuggle pillow. So, I had looked and looked for pillows that were as soft and squishy as these, but to no avail. Until now that is. Well, honestly, these aren't exactly as squishy as the old ones, but they are very close. In fact, they are a little better than the old ones, because these you CAN sleep with them under your head and be comfortable. If you like a firm pillow to sleep on, this probably isn't the one for you - UNLESS you like to squish your pillows against you while you sleep - then I definitely recommend these pillows. The price is great too!
