I loved the comforter and the color could not have been more perfect however, it was WAY short of meeting the needs of my king pillow top mattress and barely covers the top of the mattress (NO comforter falls down the sides at all). I'm glad I had purchased a decorated quilt to go over the top of it, anyhow, otherwise I'd have no alternative but to return it- and I want to keep it. It's warm, it's comfy, VERY puffy, and the color, as stated, is perfect (I got periwinkle- it's a bluish lavender-- very pretty). So if you need a queen, do yourself a favor and buy a king, and if you need a full, go with queen, etc... it will make sense when you see it, I promise. And if you need a true king, I hope you aren't fussy about your sheets showing on the sides (all the way down the sides, that is).

WARMTH: this is a really comfortable and warm comforter. i love it a lot. COLORS: i ordered "Ivory" but received a white one. later, a customer rep told me that the pictures were not quite real: the comforter should look like a white down without colors. so i purchased a duvet cover that fits this over-sized comforter. ALERT: the comforter's size is 88x90. i strongly recommend you buy a 90x90 duvet cover rather than 88x88. AVOID 86x86 covers---they won't fit. don't repeat my mistake. hope this helps.

I needed a down comforter that was machine washable because with two dogs who sleep on the end of the bed, dirty collects frequently. I love down comforters but it is usually to much of a hassle to own one because they were too delicate to last. The fabric on this comforter is tough enough to withstand the dogs but soft enough that we all love to sleep with it.

I am very happy with this comforter. I don't think you can find a warmer or higher quality one at this price. In fact, a saw a very similar Martha Stewart comforter for triple the price. Just one thing...the comforter arrives in a plain, clear plastic bag. No insert, labels, stickers..nothing specifying a specific brand. Not even Overstock. This doesn't bother me, but I know some people like to know the brand of what they are buying. Warmth: I think it is very warm and cozy. Much warmer than a regular comforter. It's also nice and fluffy. Color: I bought the periwinkle. It is a more muted color than it appears on my monitor, but the general hue is correct. Size: I bought the kind size and it fits a queen size bed generously, but I would recommend buying the next size up when possible. Especially considering the cost is the same for all sizes (which is not usually the case). Material: I think it feels pretty good for a 230 thread count. I recently bought another comforter from overstock that has a 600 thread count. While the 600 definitely feels softer and smoother, it's not a huge difference. As far as that "crunchy" sound, it's not too bad and you may not even notice it. It's kind of like the sound your arms make when wearing a puffy "north face" kind of coat. Although, go with a higher thread count if you think it will bother you. The 600 is much better when it comes to that.

I bought this for my father who is extremely picky. He cannot tolerate the heavy feeling of blankets or comforters, but really likes this comforter. His room gets very chilly compared to the rest of the house. He loves the warmth and lightness. I ordered the khaki and it is very nice. I highly recommend.

I really like this comforter! It looks and feels like a real down comforter. It's very warm and fluffy yet lightweight. It's a good idea to buy it a size bigger than your bed.

This comforter is a great value for the price. It is soft, warm and durable. Not the most luxurious fabric perhaps, but it can be put in a duvet for a more upscale look. So far it is doing a terrific job of keeping me warm in my freezing Chicago apartment.

I love my new comforter. It was shipped quickly and inexpensively. It does not make a lot of noise as another reviewer claimed. It is warm but not too warm where you sweat all night. It's not so big and fluffy like my old down comforter that looked sloppy on the bed. It's easy to pull back and make in the morning. It is a great buy for the money. I will order from Overstock again.

This blanket is really nice! The color definately wasn't what it was supposed to be (plum instead of a really dark purple), but its still really pretty. It washes fine and it doesn't make any weird noises like some people have mentioned. The size is also nice for my full size bed, there is plenty of over hang, but if you like a really big blanket I suppose you could get the next size up. I love sleeping with this blanket and would highly recommend it to anybody, especially because it was so cheap!

This comforter is not over-sized, as other reviewers have stated. But it is hefty, warm, and lovely. The so-called "clover" color we ordered is more accurately sage, and it compliments our colors well. Nice price and great product.

I bought this comforter to replace my down comforter which was spewing feathers everywhere. This comforter gives the same warmth and is light as a feather without the hassel of vacuuming them up on a daily basis. It is also machine washable which the real down is not. I am thrilled with my purchase. The color was exact to the swatch and I am thinking about replacing all of the comforters in my house with this same product.

I purchased this comforter for my son. I was surprised how incredibly lofty and warm it was! My son uses it with a duvet, since I got him a great child-friendly one but it looks like the comforter can be used without a duvet as well. My son loves the fact that he has the puffiest puff (that's what we call comforters) in the house. If I didn't already have a down comforter for my bed, I would get one for myself too!

I was very surprised when I received the comforter at the quality. I am very particular about my bedding and always buy the best. I bought this as a spare for grandkids visiting and when I opened this and felt the quality of the comforter, the softness and how well made this was, I am going to use it in the master suite. I have learned it is not always true that 'you get what you pay for.' THis was inexpensive and the quality was no less than a $400 comforter. I would recommend this to anyone. I bet they won't last!

This is a great comforter at a great price! My friends and family comment on how soft and warm they are. I have bought 3 already for my family and will be buying a few more today. They get softer with each washing and lose the "sleeping bag noise" over time. My overnight guests love them!

This is a nice comforter, however, it sounds like a dozen paper bags wrinkling every time you move!!! It is a great size and has great loft, but the crinkling noise is NOT conducive when trying to relax and sleep!!! Suggest going with a higher thread count!

Sure, this is mega cheap for a comforter, but you'd never know it by seeing this comforter in person. It's absolutely the best comforter I've ever bought..in fact I just got a second for my guest room. The texture is divine, it has lovely lofting and it's great in all seasons. This is a great buy! A++++!

I bought this comforter in addition to a serta 2 in. foam topper. Couldn't be happier! The comforter is so soft when laying on top of it - it's heavenly. When sleeping under the covers, it's very warm. I recommended it to a friend and she couldn't be happier! Definitely worth purchasing. I will agree with a post I read before purchasing that it seems smaller than a typical comforter but I also have it piled on top of memory foam and 3 blankets but it's under my main bed spread (lot of blankets but my room is freezing!!). I have a queen and bought the queen and my main bed spread is significantly larger all around. I think if you're using it as the main bed spread, you might want to upgrade to a larger size. It's kinda puffy so keep that in mind that it won't lay flat and down the sides of the bed.

This product arrived three days after I placed the order. It feels and looks great, although I ordered a queen/full and it barely covers the mattress from sight on both the sides and the foot of the bed. I don't even have a box spring but had I known, I would have ordered a king so there would be a little bit of hang on the sides.

This is my first DOWN ALTERNATIVE comforter, and it is very cozy. The only thing that I miss is the actual LOFT of a real down comforter. I can feel the quality of this one. Fits nice on our Queen bed and is for sure going to be warm enough for cold winter nights here in Minneapolis, MN. I got the kacki color and I like it lots. Overall, really good comforter for the cost!!!

I love this comforter. I was actually looking for a down one when I saw this and decided to try the alternative to down. Glad I did - this is washable and easier to care for. It is surely just as warm and the yellow is the exact shade I was looking for. The only thing I did go up one size after reading the reviews and I would stick with the size recommended for the bed. This is just a bit too large but you can tuck it in on the end. Great price also. Overstock has come through once more !
