I spent a lot of time researching sheets. I wanted the highest thread count at a reasonable price. With the other reviews, price, and size/color choices, I selected these. I am not disappointed. I slept on them last night and I slept well. Overstock is great with shipping - one price for whole order and speedy delivery. Looking briefly in stores I would have paid much more and might not have selection at high thread count. I ordered ivory color and they were as pictured and match my room decor. The deep pockets are very ample for even the plushest pillow - top. The cotton fabric is soft and smooth. I would purchase more ar even give as gifts.

I looked at several sheet sets in the stores including high end department stores, but just couldn't find what I was looking for. After checking Overstock, I found several to consider. Finally, these seemed to be the best value. Despite a few negative comments, I saw several positive reviews and decided that the price made it worth the risk. So very happy I purchased them! I have no idea what the people with the negative reviews were thinking, especially at this price! They definitely have a substantial weight. I washed upon receipt and ran them through a second rinse with fabric softener and they're wonderful. My husband is very pleased as well. We have a very thick mattress and it is difficult to find sets with a fitted sheet that has deep enough pockets to stay put. These, however, are amazing. The flat sheet does have extra length (surprisingly someone mentioned that as a negative!) which allows plenty to tuck under the mattress to stay put while still allowing it to fold over nicely at the head of the bed. I would definitely purchase these again. And again! I also purchased a couple of extra sets of pillowcases in different colors and all three colors were well represented in the photos (chocolate, sea glass, stone).

So, I'm a simple girl and before moving in with my fiancee I wasn't particular about my sheets. He is though and so my sheets went into storage and we only used his 800 count sheets which I had to admit were incredibly soft. Its been a year since I moved in and it was time for us to buy new sheets because we bought a new duvet and his old sheets didn't match anymore. So knowing that I needed to buy 800 count sheets I liked the reviews of the Luxury Manor sheets and purchased them in chocolate. Now, thankfully I had done my research before the sheets arrived so I already knew that the sheets would need to be washed several times before they could even start to match our old sheets softness. So if you order these sheets be prepared to wash them at least twice before using them. Otherwise the sheets will feel rough. At this point our sheets have only been washed twice and they are very comfortable. Other positives, the color (chocolate) is rich and after ordering the sheets they arrived two days later.

Buy these sheets only if you have a standard, shallow mattress as they are too short for pillow-top and/or deep mattresses and the sheets do shrink during washing even in cold water and even when you air dry the sheets on a line outside.

these sheets are great!!! love them!! They are thick, soft, have gotten softer with each wash.

Theses sheets are 800 ct and incredibly comfy - they're a little stiff when you take them out of the plastic, but one washing is all you need. The price was perfect for such a good quality. I've already recommended this to several friends.

I love you Overstock but these sheets are not soft at all! When i first recieved them i washed and dried (with fabric softener) them and put them on my bed. I couldn't wait to go to bed that night! As my husband and I were laying there he said to me "these sheets are really uncomfortable." I had to agree! I have some 400 count that are way softer. Sorry Overstock but I'm disappointed! As I said though, I still love you.

I was excited when my sheets came. The feel of them even before I washed them were very soft and smooth. I was impressed as how heavy they were when I took them out of the washer. They were really wrinkled when they came out of the dryer but when they were put on the bed the wrinkles have seemed to come out and they are very very nice. I feel the softness every time I climb into bed. I know they will get softer and softer with each washing. A very very good buy for the money. Thinking about even buying another set!

These sheets were so stiff and thick they may as well have been cardboard. It would take more than an hour to dry in the dryer. I finally gave up. They weren't comfortable to sleep on, hard to wash/dry, so I donated them to Salvation Army. Higher sheet count is not always a positive.

I have a queen size bed. No mattress pad or anything. I ordered the sheets and loved them except after the second wash, they are almost impossible to get onto the bed. The corners of them do not go where they should. They are not proportinal like they should be. If they would redo their sizes to fix a normal bed, these would be perfect sheets. However, I would not purchase them if you don't have someone with you to make your bed that is very strong!

I bought two sets of these sheets. The second time I put the white set on, the entire corner of the bottom sheet tore away at the seam. I patched it with one of those iron on patch kits. The next time I put them on, another corner completely shredded as I put them on. I threw them away. I will never buy sheets again from Overstock, and I've been a fan of theirs for years. Be careful!

800 ct sheets for master and guest beds arrived as promised. quality of product is outstanding. Price was good; not cheap, but worth it.

These sheets are so small the fitted sheet barely fits the mattress and the flat sheet only hangs over about 2 inches on each side. Wouldn't get them again.

I was so happy about the sheet set, but it shrink so much... Please be aware of it...

I bought two sets of these sheets. They are a beautiful color, I loved the feel of them and they didn't wrinkle too much but the problem is, they shrink really bad. I have a queen size bed, guess I should have bought king size, but who would believe that they would continue to shrink more each time they are washed , in cold water and low heat. I can't get them on my bed anymore. What a waste of money. This gives Overstock and bad name when they continue to sell this type of product. I have bought many things from them and have been pleased but not with these sheets. I don't understand why they got such good rating from some folks, unless they wrote the reviews before they had used and washed them very much. I, frankly didn't know fabric would continue to shrink, I thought the first time would be the only time. I was mistaken. If you have a very thin mattress maybe they would work for you. I'm am very disappointed for sure.

These sheets are very thick and stiff. I prefer sheets that are soft and drape over the bed and these are not. It comes down to personal preference and these are not mine. After washing, the sheets did shrink, specially the the fitted sheet.

An old-school, true 800 threadcount, meaning threads, not microfibres. This fabric is thick and somewhat stiff, which I happen to like. If you want highly drapable satin-like sheets, look elsewhere. This is a great value, but they will shrink *substantially*! After one washing, my king set is the perfect size for a California king, no longer wide enough for my 18" deep, eastern king. In fact, I suspect that they sent me a California set that was mis-labeled. If these shrink any more on the second washing, I will have to return them.

I bought a queen size set. After I received it, I washed it. When I tried to put it on my queen size bed. I have to try very hard to pull it onto my mattress, and it seems a little smaller than my bed. Maybe it shrunk after wash. The fabric feels good though.

I love these sheets, however, I wish I knew that mercerized sateen cotton was such a lint trapper before I purchased these. I have to swipe a lint brush over these once day because we have cats with long hair and their hair definitely sticks to the sheets unlike anything I've seen. A better buy for a guest bed or for those without pets (even though they still collect lint off your clothing). Hoping they will soften up more after a few more washes.

I bought these sheets in March & have washed them every week since then. They are like canvas & wrinkle terriblty. I really thought after several washings they would be less stiff & less wrinkled, but not so. Just as bad as when I first got them. The color has also faded (like bleach spots, however I have never bleached them) in two farily large places. Terribly dissapointing since I went with a higher thread count thinking I would get a better quality.
