The most amazing quality. Once it's back in stock i will buy more.Read More
I would recommend this product to a friend looking for this type of product. I bought it because I couldn't find another product that suited my taste. I only needed this as an inexpensive, fast substitute to protect a wool comforter. Cleaning a cover is easier than cleaning a wool comforter. I find the fabric snags easily and they are quite visible. Being a solid color, it shows pet hair in a big way. After washing it once, the fabric looks worn and rather fuzzy.Read More
What a bargain! Absolutely top quality. I took the only color available in King. It's very lovely and feels and looks SO expensive.Read More
It is the first 800 thread count duvet cover I purchased. It is indeed a lot heavier/thicker than my 300 thread count ones. The fabric is soft. However, I probably will continue order 300 thread count duvet covers in the future as the 800 thread count takes a lot more space in washer and seems unnecessarily thick. I am giving it a 4 star not because of quality, but simply feel it is more convenient to change and wash a 300 thread count duvet cover as I wash it every week.Read More
Very good value. The gold was true to the picture. They are very soft and thick. I have dogs, I don't worry about toenails puncturing the fabric. I have not washed them yet so not sure how well they will wash. I would say it would be best on very low heat.Read More
Overall I am very happy with the duvet. It fit my down comforter really well. I also loved the quality and rich chocolate color. Great with pets because all hair or dirt just wiped right off.Read More
I ordered the duvet in stone and received what I thought was gold in error. Turns out that is what Overstock is referring to as stone. It is no where near stone colored. Expensive to return and when customer service asked if I would like them to send another one in case it was gold in the packaging as I suspected, when I asked if I would have to pay to return that one they said yes. This is the second time I have had to return bedding for the color being way off. Will not take my chances anymore. Too expensive to return.Read More
Beautiful material. Very nice rich color. I recommend this highly if you are in the market to spoil ourself a little. Good price for what you get.Read More
Luxury, Quality, Fit, Color, this is not a thin lightweight Duvet that will wear out in a year it is thick and supple that will last a lifetime. The feel is sensuous and rich after one washing with no shrinkage or fading, cold wash low dry no iron with just enough light wrinkle to feel like your in a four star Hotel in Europe. Duvet and Shams are the size that was quoted I first measured my comforter to be sure it would fit and the shams were perfect for my qn/st pillows. I don't think you can find a better set at any price. Only thing missing is a tie in the corner's to hold comforter in place, buttons and flaps worked perfectly.Read More
This duvet is truly a high quality, high thread count thing of beauty. It is so well made, the buttons are designed to lay flat, and is very easy to put on. Some duvet covers are like sheets - this one is like a beautiful bedspread. I'm so happy, I smile when I come into my room. Awesome icy blue color is pretty and sophisticated. Love it.Read More

Best Duvet Covers for Each Season
For those who use duvet blankets year-round, duvet covers allow you to change patterns and color to match every season. Along with the decor of the bedroom, a duvet cover may enhance the ambiance of the entire room or supply it with rich colors and textures for the ultimate comfort factor. If you purchased an expensive duvet, covering it throughout the year will keep it in good shape and allow you to wash it without compromising the batting. Look below to learn the best duvet covers for each season. Spring: Once the evenings start warming up, lighter fabrics like satin provide sheen and style to any bedroom. Satin duvet covers are most often comprised of fabrics like nylon, rayon or silk to provide durability as well as comfort. For spring, lighter colors, including pastels or variations of cream and beige, brighten the room. Summer: During warm summer nights, cotton duvets are one of the most common fabric choices. Light and airy, cotton is also easy to clean and comes in virtually every color and pattern. For the summer season, try a white duvet cover, which will make the room appear more open and spacious. A cotton blend that contains polyester is also an ideal choice for summer, because it is soft, requires simple washing and does not wrinkle. Fall: For the fall season, a duvet cover that is warm enough for intermittent chilly nights is an ideal choice. Microsuede duvet covers offer a soft feel to bedding and come in a variety of colors. This material is easy to care for and machine washable. For fall, choose earthy colors like beige, brown, dark green or burgundy for a seasonal look. Winter: A luxurious duvet cover is a favorite option for warmth during the winter months. Duvets vs Down Comforters
A new duvet or down comforter is a fast, easy way to change the look of your bedroom decor. These bed coverings can also keep you warm and toasty on a cold winter's night. Traditionally, the word duvet, a French word meaning "down," was interchangeable with down comforter. Today, however, when most Americans say the word duvet, they are actually referring to a duvet cover. Duvet covers are made to slip over many different types of comforters, whereas a down comforter can be used as a standalone bed covering. Take a look at this article to learn more about the differences between duvets and down comforters.

Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
Organic Bedding Fact Sheet
Organic bedding sets and accessories offer a wealth of benefits for people who want to live a more environmentally friendly lifestyle while keeping allergies at bay. When you're decorating an eco-friendly sleeping space, you can choose from several styles of organic bedding made from all-natural fibers and synthetic-fiber blends. Whether you're looking for a new duvet cover for the guest bedroom or a complete organic cotton bedding ensemble for the master bedroom, there are several reasons to choose an organic bedding set. This organic bedding fact sheet should help you learn more about it.
How to Pick a Pillow
Even if you have a top-of-the-line mattress and an 800 thread count sheet set, your bed is not likely to be comfortable without the right pillow tucked under your cheek. Nothing ruins a good night's sleep like a bad pillow. Unfortunately, it's easy to underestimate the value of a good pillow. Not only do good pillows add aesthetic value to your bed, but they can also be the difference between a restful night or an aching back and neck. Pillows come in different shapes, sizes and firmness. Take a look below to learn how to pick a pillow.
Sheets - Luxury Weaves

How to Store a Patio Umbrella for Winter
When summer winds down, it's time to start thinking about clearing off the patio. Begin by putting away patio furniture before winter sets in. Typically, patio furniture and table covers do the job. However, if patio umbrellas are stored incorrectly, mold and mildew can grow on them, leading to an unpleasant surprise the following spring when you want to set them back outside.
Best Fills for Down Comforters
Warm and incredibly soft, down comforters are the height of luxurious bedding. Like all other bedding, down comforters can range from inexpensive to costly. The proof is in the filling. Inexpensive down comforters are filled with a combination of down and polyester or down and feathers. The best down comforters, which are usually also the most expensive, are full of pure, thick down. Take a look below to learn the best fills for down comforters. Hungarian goose down: Hungarian goose down is considered the most luxurious type of down. These extreme cold-weather birds have very thick, almost odorless tufts of down at the base of their feathers. This heavy, long-lasting down is most often used in comforters with a fill rating of 800, which means they can keep a person warm even in cold conditions. Eiderdown: Eiderdown is harvested by hand from the abandoned nests of Eider ducks, which pluck the down from their own backs and use it to cover their eggs. Eider ducks live in cold climates, so their down is thick and heavy. It is used in high-quality comforters with a fill rating of between 700 and 800. Eider duck down is the only type of duck down used in high-quality comforters. All other duck down is usually considered too smelly (and some duck down has tiny barbs) and is used in much less expensive comforters. Grey and white goose down: Grey goose down is used in dark comforters due it its grey color, but it is the same as white goose down in all other ways. Grey and white goose down, which is usually harvested from European or Chinese geese, is the most popular type of down used in middle-price-range pure down comforters. These comforters usually have a fill rating of 600 and above. Hypodown: Hypodown is a mixture of white goose down and milkweed. This all-natural filling is hypoallergenic and much more durable than pure down comforters. While pure down is still considered to be the preferable fill for comforters by most people, hypodown is gaining popularity with consumers who want a longer lasting product without synthetic fills.
