I ordered this cause at the time it has all 5 stars review. But this end up the most expensive and the worse sheet I have. It is very thick, feels like vinyl, not soft at all. I don't know why other reviews say this is soft. The thread is very thick too, this makes the sheet thick and stiff, and coarse. The high thread count sheets mean to be within one square inch, how many thread you can fit in, the finer the threads the more count you will get. It is suppose to be a measure of how fine the threads are. But this set is to jammed 1500 thick and coarse thread and the results is bad. I hated it every time I touch it. After a few wash, now it started to pile a bit. I will not recommend this to anyone. It is a bad quality sheet set. If you want a vinyl feel than you will rate this good. I want soft and silky, and this is not it.Read More
I love the sheets, however, my husband thinks they are too heavy (I guess that's why I liked them). No need for extra winter blankets. I like them better than my flannel sheets! Great weight, great texture, great fit!Read More
I have purchased 1000+ thread count sheets on Overstock 3 times before. They do take extra care, as any $100+ purchase should, but they give back so much more. I bought these as a gift for my girlfriend and she absolutely LOVES them! I know some people don't like the 'stiffness' when they first come out of the package, I would just tell them to be patient. Sleep on them, wash them regualarly and they will become even more luxurious!Read More
Love these sheets! Will definitely purchase again. They are very heavy and thick but that is the reason I buy high thread count sheets.Read More
I love these sheets. I purchased the blue, and at first I thought the color was off from the picture. After looking again, it is pretty close. They are a light blue or a sky blue. They look good on the bed. I really love the thickness and qualtiy, and I don't find them too warm at all. The do have a satin feel, but not as much as others. I have purchased other high thread count sheets, and these are my favorite. I expect these to last for a long, long time. do plan on purchasing another set. My only "complaint" would be that I prefer the pillow cases to close. These do not (like most).Read More

Many were complaining about other high thread count sheets on this site saying that they were too thick and starch which led me to gamble on these ones which were less reviewed. These sheets are buttery smooth and feel exactly how high thread count sheets should.Read More
Super soft after a few washings. Very thick to the touch and comfy to sleep in.Read More
I was surprised how thick these sheets are. Someone said to me they feel like rubber. But OH they don't feel like that when you sleep in them. They are a little warm, but not as warm as flannel sheets. I expect these sheets to last a long time because of how thick they are. They take up a lot of room in the washer. I can only wash the set alone, before with my other sheets I could add towels. I line dry my sheets and they don't wrinkle. I would buy another set.Read More
These sheets are totally deluxe. If you like sturdy sheets made solid and smooth, this is your set to own. The pillowcases are very thick. The sheets are so well made; sleep in style and feel pampered in these Luxury Estate bedsheets.Read More

Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
