These sheets were a dream to sleep on when I first put them on my bed - satiny and smooth. But after the first wash they transformed into a scratchy, frayed mess. Having read other reviews beforehand I made sure to wash with cold water and use the delicate cycle in the dryer - to no avail, apparently. The seams are coming apart and that smooth, satiny feel is gone.Read More

I was a bit leery of purchasing these sheets due to the low price and a few low reviews but went ahead and bought them and am glad I did. They washed well, are thick and fit with room to spare and have a nice feel. What's not to like. Only time will tell how durable they will be.Read More
Great value for this deep pocket sheet set. They wash nice and are comfortable. They are also super easy to put on my thick mattress. I don't have to pull and stretch and break my back to get them on! I bought a second set.Read More
These sheets are a lovely color and feel smooth and sturdy with out being too crisp. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the overall quality. After using the sheets for 1 week, they have started to pill. I attempted to wash them with a softener to see if it would help, but it seems to only be getting worse. The areas where the pilling occurs makes the sheets scratchy and uncomfortable. Usually I would blame myself for trying to get a good deal, but I purchased another sheet set around the same price with a lower thread count that has handled much better. I would not purchase this item again, nor would I recommend it.Read More
Ordered a queen sheet set and the packaging of these sheets were excellent, color and soft hand feel of these sheets turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. .Fabric quality on these sheets seem really soft and heavy, maybe my initial expectations were not too great when I ordered these sheets, but after receiving them, I have no regrets-I feel this is a great buy.Read More

First of all, I purchase ALOT of items from Overstock.. After washing the sheets ONE time, they were fine. I washed them a 2nd time and one of the seams on the fitted sheet completely SPLIT and tore. That is absolutely ridiculous. If I purchaed this item at a STORE I would have returned them right away. Considering I purchaed them through OVERSTOCK, I feel that I am just stuck with them. Do NOT purchase these sheets. If you do, it would be easier to just burn your money in the fire.Read More

Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
