    • Great, sturdy, comfy sheets -- could be softer

      I purposely waited until I'd washed these sheets 3 or 4 times before writing my review, because I figured they would soften up with time, and they do. I've washed them about three times now and they are definitely THICK and comfy, and yes they've softened considerably. They don't have the luxurious, satiny feel that some high-thread count sheets have, and I think I know why: to get that feel I believe you have to order sheets in a sateen finish. Lesson learned, because I do have some sheets that have that wonderful, buttery feel, and though I love these new ones, I miss that feel. I'll know for next time.That said, these sheets are an excellent value, especially at the price I paid. They are of a very dense fabric. I agree with another reviewer who said they are best in winter. I think that's probably true, and as the weather starts warming, I'll no doubt look for a set with a lighter feel. If sateen-finish high-count sheets feel like satin, these feel more like flannel. Definitely soft, just not so smooth. (They're not rough either, they don't pill or anything like that, although I did notice lint coming off in the dryer; I actually had to clean my lint filter after drying, a first for sheets!)These sheets are great when you just want to snuggle down and get cozy. Want to feel pampered? Get sateen.

      I bought a set of these sheets a little over a year ago after moving into a new home. These are by far my favorite sheets ordered from overstock. They may not be the highest thread count but don't let that fool you, these are softest most comfortable sheets I've gotten from overstock. Even after years worth of washing these continue to get softer.

      soft well crafted sheets at a great value. Pocket sizes are really deep and fit my pillowtop mattresses without any problem even after many washes - there is minimal shrinkage.

      This was my first order and when I pulled them out of the package they felt very nice and soft. I washed them before using and when they came out of the wash they felt like canvas. I read all the reviews before I purchased them and can't believe I had such a different experience than everyone else.

      I ordered a set of these sheets in a california king size. I ordered them in that Ivory color. I had never had Egyptian sheets before and did not want to try them and be disappointed, and the count was only 530, but I read the reviews and decided to buy. I washed them as soon as they arrived and dried them in the dryer. Do they wrinkle? No they don't. They were for the master bedroom and they are soft and a lovely color.

      I am very pleased with the sheets. They have a nice slick feeling to them which keeps them feeling cool which I love! They wash well and don't wrinkle too badly if you take them out of the dryer promptly and put them on the bed. For the price, you can't beat it!

    • Good sheets, not true to color

      These sheets have a substantial weight, which is very nice in cooler weather. They are comfortable, but not super soft. I ordered a set in ivory. The package said ivory, but the color is much more a golden butter yellow. Maybe "aged ivory" would be a better color description. They wash well, with minor wrinkling. The pockets fit my 20 inch mattress very well, and the top sheet has plenty to tuck in and still have room at the top to fold over a blanket.

    • Luxury Egyptian 530 Thread Count Sheet Set

      This set was purchased for our guest bedroom. Our guest specifically commented on how comfortable the bed linens were. They were described as cloud soft, felt warm as you slept on them and made it difficult to get out of bed the next morning. To avoid the need to press, fold right out of dryer. Color was as pictured and fit was as advertised. Pleased with purchase and plan to purchase more. Good value.

      this is the 2nd time we bught them. we had to replace other sheets that were warn. It's a good value for the money.
