I purposely waited until I'd washed these sheets 3 or 4 times before writing my review, because I figured they would soften up with time, and they do. I've washed them about three times now and they are definitely THICK and comfy, and yes they've softened considerably. They don't have the luxurious, satiny feel that some high-thread count sheets have, and I think I know why: to get that feel I believe you have to order sheets in a sateen finish. Lesson learned, because I do have some sheets that have that wonderful, buttery feel, and though I love these new ones, I miss that feel. I'll know for next time.That said, these sheets are an excellent value, especially at the price I paid. They are of a very dense fabric. I agree with another reviewer who said they are best in winter. I think that's probably true, and as the weather starts warming, I'll no doubt look for a set with a lighter feel. If sateen-finish high-count sheets feel like satin, these feel more like flannel. Definitely soft, just not so smooth. (They're not rough either, they don't pill or anything like that, although I did notice lint coming off in the dryer; I actually had to clean my lint filter after drying, a first for sheets!)These sheets are great when you just want to snuggle down and get cozy. Want to feel pampered? Get sateen.

I bought a set of these sheets a little over a year ago after moving into a new home. These are by far my favorite sheets ordered from overstock. They may not be the highest thread count but don't let that fool you, these are softest most comfortable sheets I've gotten from overstock. Even after years worth of washing these continue to get softer.

soft well crafted sheets at a great value. Pocket sizes are really deep and fit my pillowtop mattresses without any problem even after many washes - there is minimal shrinkage.

This was my first order and when I pulled them out of the package they felt very nice and soft. I washed them before using and when they came out of the wash they felt like canvas. I read all the reviews before I purchased them and can't believe I had such a different experience than everyone else.

I ordered a set of these sheets in a california king size. I ordered them in that Ivory color. I had never had Egyptian sheets before and did not want to try them and be disappointed, and the count was only 530, but I read the reviews and decided to buy. I washed them as soon as they arrived and dried them in the dryer. Do they wrinkle? No they don't. They were for the master bedroom and they are soft and a lovely color.

I have a skin condition that requires sheets to be broken in. These sheets felt soft out of the packaging but not as soft as I require so don't judge your softness requirements by what I say, I think these will break in faster than most for me because it is well combed cotton. I have felt so many sets of high-end sheets that feel like sandpaper for months. I slept on the bottom sheet the first night so that is a miracle right there,They are well made, nice deep pockets, and the Turtle Dove color is a nice ivory/buff. They are also not too thick--not a heavy sheet at all so good all year round.

I am very pleased with the sheets. They have a nice slick feeling to them which keeps them feeling cool which I love! They wash well and don't wrinkle too badly if you take them out of the dryer promptly and put them on the bed. For the price, you can't beat it!

These sheets are excellent! Extremely soft and fit my Sleep to Live mattress which is about 17" high. Would purchase more-in a ehartbeat!

These sheets have a substantial weight, which is very nice in cooler weather. They are comfortable, but not super soft. I ordered a set in ivory. The package said ivory, but the color is much more a golden butter yellow. Maybe "aged ivory" would be a better color description. They wash well, with minor wrinkling. The pockets fit my 20 inch mattress very well, and the top sheet has plenty to tuck in and still have room at the top to fold over a blanket.

This set was purchased for our guest bedroom. Our guest specifically commented on how comfortable the bed linens were. They were described as cloud soft, felt warm as you slept on them and made it difficult to get out of bed the next morning. To avoid the need to press, fold right out of dryer. Color was as pictured and fit was as advertised. Pleased with purchase and plan to purchase more. Good value.

this is the 2nd time we bught them. we had to replace other sheets that were warn. It's a good value for the money.

Really nice, silky feeling, lay on the bed nicely, very comfortable to sleep on... I recommend these without reservation... I WILL be buying another set...

Upon first inspection, I liked these sheets a lot, but when I never had sheets this wrinkled upon washing. I even ran each piece through the dryer again, but to no avail. Wish I could return it now.

I had a gift certificate and was hoping to treat myself to a great set of sheets. Ones I could really look forward to slipping into each night. Well, sorry, but these are not it! I expected them to be much softer and smoother. I bought much cheaper at "the" big mart" store for one of my children's beds and they were so much softer and nicer feeling than these. I feel I wasted my money.

I bought these sheets a year ago and I can't get enough of them... I look forward to the week they get put on! Love the color and I think they are so soft! I use Gain Detergent, Fabric Softner AND dryer sheets and have never had a problem!

i bought these sheets to use in my exstra bed room ,on a new bed ,i slept in there for a few nights and the new sheets are just so soft . also the color is just the color i was looking for. i realy love them.

What else can I say? Lousy sheets. I thought washing might help, but now they're wrinkled and scratchy. I

For the money, you are getting what you pay for. I would never think these are 530 thread count. I have some 400 thread count sheets that are much softer and silkier. None the less, the value is good.

I have never ever bought sheets that were made from Egyptian cotton and they are incredible. The 530 thread count is not too heavy and they are smooth and soft to the touch. They hold up well in the wash and are made to last. I will definitely buy them again.I have also decided to gift a set to all my relatives for their birthdays and anniversaries which they would highly appreciate.

I am enjoying these sheets. They are very thick, but do wrinkle. I think these would fit a very deep mattress. Mine is not too big, but my other sheets are snug on my bed. These go on very easily but don't come sliding off. They are soft out of the package, but with time I hope they get softer. I've only washed them once, so we'll see.
