I bought these sheets because the majority of the reviews were positive. However, since I received them, I have been very dissapointed. At first they were very smooth and soft. After the first wash, they were fine, but after using them for a week they became rough and bumpy. Also, they are hard to fit on my 12 in thick mattress. according to the description, they should fit fine. They ceraintly do not reflect a Eguypian Cotton 530 thread count sheet set. I have ordered other sheets hoping to replace these and I have had them less than a month.
These sheets are advertised as 530 thread count, but I have to question that. They are softer than the 200 count sheets that I usually buy, but they feel very lightweight and insubstantial. I expected sheets with a very high thread count to be heavier, like hotel sheets. Also, the top hem of the flat sheet tore apart after just two days of use. I have never had this happen to any sheet, even the $10 ones I get at discount stores. They are VERY cheaply made and I cannot recommend them.
We love these sheets, had bought the 400 Thread count and was not as pleased as I thought I would be. These fit great, Do not pop off the adjustable beds as some claim regular sheets will and are so soft. One minor fault the top sheet could stand to be 10 inches wider as it is the same size as a regular king top sheet and the two twin XL's are a little wider. Sometimes makes for an interesting game of tug of war in the middle of the night of course SWMBO wins in the end.
At first I was happy with these sheets, They felt soft and other then the quality of the sewing they were fine. Then after washing them for the 3rd time they started to pill. Nothing drives me crazier then sheets that pill. This is my second review because the first one was done before I had a chance to use them for a while.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? good
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. very poor, they pill and the sewing quality is very poor.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? it was a good discription.
This is my second set. I had bought the light blue for our Split King Bed a few years ago and love them so much that I decided to buy another set. The light blue does not look anything like in the picture, it looks more like a seafoam blue, it is just a great color. They wash and dry beautifully and feel very luxurious.
I was happy when I first got these sheets. They are a very nice weight - a good heavy sheet like I like. But after a couple of washings the hems folded up and in essence I lost about three inches in length. Now they are developing tiny holes where threads are breaking. ONe pillowcase is not even useable anymore
We just put these sheets on our new split king mattress last night. They fit perfectly and they are very comfortable. Great value. We washed them as soon as they arrived, no shrinking or fading. My husband is sort of fussy about sheets and he loves them! I'm likely to order more in different colors.
After several years' of use, our sad and worn old split King sheet set needed replacing. As the original set was purchased from Overstock (and had lasted very well), I decided to shop there again. As usual, they did not disappoint. The sheets arrived within days of the order, were exactly as ordered (right size, color, number of pillow cases/sheets). So into the wash they went, then onto the bed. We like "snappy" crisp sheets, not necessary soft, so these sheets are perfect. They are heavier than the previous set (which were 400 count, so yeah) and took longer to dry. They did come out of the drier a bit more wrinkled than expected (which is why the quality is "good" ) but they have settled out without pilling or shifting on our Tempurpedic king. The sheets are a true white, as are all our sheets and towels, so they can be bleached if desired without concern for color run or fading and laundered with other like 100% cotton items.
