I really like this sheet set, it isn't the best 800 count I have had but they are really good, and much better then the other set I bought at the same time, they are a little large for my bed, and they are one sided which means you have to put the top sheet upside down, not all people do this as a norm because sheets normally are the same on both sides, these are not.
All 800 thread count sheets are not created equal. These Cotton Rich sheets are 45% polyester and feel worse than 200 count sheets, rigid and course. My wife is made a duvet cover out of one set and dog beds out another so they weren't a lost cause after all.
Supposed to be sateen finish - feels like an emery board. Very unhappy. Would return but I already washed and put them on the bed. I should have read other people's reviews. They don't shine at all and they aren't at all crisp. I can't call them soft because you can't have soft sand paper. Skip them. They do fit a deep mattress and are generously sized, as well as wrinkle free.
These sheets have high thread count, so I expected them to be on the luxurious side. They are thick, and scratchy, even after 4+ washings. They are not at all satiny or smooth, almost like a brushed cotton. I do not recommend these if you are looking for soft sheets. True to the name, they are pretty wrinkle resistant, but now I know that I will take wrinkles if it means my sheets will be soft. Also, some of the stitching in the hem is already coming out.
I purchased these sheets for my son and his family as Christmas time. I also purchased a set of sheets for my bed. For my bed I purchased the olympic queen and for the first time they fit and were perfect. My problem is the pillow cases are to small. I have queen pillows on a queen bed so why would any one put standard pillow cases with queen sheets. Please do something about this. I really like these sheets they would be perfect if the set came with queen pillow cases.
I recently bought a split king bed. The sheets that I was told to purchase at the mattress store were over $300.00. These sheets have a better thread cound a less than 1/3 of the price. These sheets are just as good quality, if not better than the more expensive sheets. They are true in color, very comfortable, and wash up very nice.
We love this item but was very disappointed on the ripped packaging upon arrival, may have been open previously. Many flaws in stitching even after washing. But, Oh well, life is life I love the color and feel of them minus the stitching. For the cost and lasts say 2 years, im ok with it
Horrible sheets! Do not waste your money. They are scratchy on the finished side and like sandpaper on the unfinished side...didn't know sheets could have an unfinished side. The stitching was off at the seams and there are a couple small holes that I suspect will grow in no time. Seriously worst sheets ever...I have purchased sheets at discount stores that are better quality than these.
