Great blanket
A great blanket, especially for someone allergic to wool. So soft! It did have the lint mentioned in another review, but that problem disappeared after one wash. The packaging says dry clean only, but after talking to an Overstock rep I went ahead and machine washed it and it came out fine. The sage color is true to the picture, brighter than I would expect a "sage" color to be, but still good. The binding on the edges is a little wavy after washing, but unnoticeable once put on the bed.

Great blanket
Having read the existing reviews, I was aware of the fuzz problem. When I opened the package I was attacked by fuzz. I took the advice of one reviewer and washed the blanket immediately on a slow gentle cycle in cold water. Then I dried it on low. I emptied the lint filter every ten minutes for the first 40 minutes and it was full each time! After that I emptied it every half hour until the blanket was dry. It took a long time on low. I love this blanket. It is toasty warm and has a comfortable weight. And unlike fleece blankets, it holds its shape when you tug on it to make the bed.

lint monster
OMG --- What a lint machine! Like this blanket, its light weight but warm will work great in the warm weather months. Since the blanket is 80% cotton 20% silk I am think of taking it to a laundry and using the extra-large washer and dryer on gentle cycles too see if that would cure the lint issue. Would have rated this blanket higher if it had been made in the USA, not labeled for dry cleaning and the lint.

so much lint!
I love the color and the softness of it but this blanket produces so much lint! It covers everything, you are covered with it if you seat on the blanket or just touch it. I kept it anyway in hope that the lint will be gone after dry cleaning or at least it will be less of it.
