This is really nice, especially for the price. The detailing is not just printed on, it has texture and style. Something you don't see in the picture are the white-accent seam/stripes running across at 18-inch intervals. This adds to the sense that this is a constructed item, not just a big piece of fabric. It is perfect for what I wanted it for, which says that it was accurately represented.
This duvet is beautiful and exactly as described. It is a very muted green with a quality stitched tree pattern and soft white stripes. It is linen-y fabric and looks expensive. Not cheap walmart quality microfiber or polyester. The only downside is that it is not very soft. In fact, it seemed a shame to put my 1200 thread count duvet inside this linen-y cover. But at night, I pull my sheets out and fold them over the duvet cover and it feels just fine! Just make sure your sheets are soft... :)
This set is really great! The material is lightweight. It has a linen or rough cotton look - not shiny. The trees are really nicely done. . .delicate. The green is really a soft color - true to the picture. It looks like a more expensive set - not sure about cleaning yet. But it seems that it would do ok in a gentle cycle and low tumble dry. Funny, the duvet sold separately says machine wash, but the three piece set says dry clean. I'd say my husband really likes it, but what would that mean to anyone else reading this! It is a soft look without being too feminine - or masculine. Another great Overstock buy!
