As a first time customer of Overstock this was such a pleasurable experience. Just ordered this two days ago and already received it! After unpacking everything and checking it I don't usually just use something without washing it, but could not wait to see how it would look on my bed. The fabric of the comforter is so soft and I cannot wait to sink into it tonight. Hopefully it will hold up well after washing. It is a pretty blue and the white is stark and clean looking. It may be a little more girlie than my husband likes but the bedroom is mine to decorate and it looks lovely. For once I am happy to say the sheets fit the deep pockets of our mattress perfectly and the shams have proven to me that someone out there really does make true KING sized pillowcases. The value was a great find... I did my research and found the comforter set alone with no sheets for double the cost elsewhere. I am very pleased and certainly excited about placing another order soon. Thank you Overstock!!!

I ordered this set just before my husband returned home from being deployed with the Army. I wasnt sure he would approved of it since it wasnt "manly". But I was thrilled when he really appreciated the quality and "homey" look of it. We have used it now for 9 months and have been so happy with it. I will certainly replace it when the time comes with another of the same brand.

I absolutely loved the Laura Ashely Comforter Set, and had my eye on it for a while. I finally ordered it.I love everything about the set except for the comforter itself. It is very stiff. And very thick, not heavy, but stiff and thick, so it sort of scrapes up your skin during the night. The sheets and pillow cases however are soft and comfy. I am hoping that if I can get the comforter into a washing machine, it is very large, that it will soften up with a bit of Downey... If not, I may definitely have to return it, regardless of how beautiful it looks. Sorry.

The comforter set I ordered came very quickly. The quality is superb. I have not washed it yet so can't judge that aspect, but it looks great!! Very soft material and color was just like the photo. I am extremely satisfied.

This set has held up so well...2 years old and looks brand new. It's a pale perriwinkle blue. Just lovely

I ordered this set when redecorating my bedroom included a painted-white Victorian reproduction bed. It is perfect. Very well made. It is the first time I've been able to see Laura Ashley products up close and I suspect no matter the pattern that grabs your attention, you will find it is manufactured with longevity in mind. Everything except the comforter goes in the washer at home - the comforter (Queen) needs an oversized washer and dryer at the laundromat. I know I'm going to enjoy this room for a very long time.

This looks perfect in my bedroom. My only disappointment is that I could not get a neck roll pillow to go with it.

this is a very nice bedding set ..i was very happy with the comforter and shams and bed skirt..the sheet set could be of better quality, but overall the comforter is the most beautiful comforter and warm as well..

I love the traditional feel of this set - so classy! Careful when you wash & dry the sheets - they can wrinkle if you don't use the right setting. Would have loved to have a few more options in terms of additional pillows (bolster, etc.) here on Overstock.

Last year I was looking for a comforter set that could withstand cat claws (no snagging), the occasional hair ball stain, dirty marks on the comforter edges from our dog walking back and forth in the bedroom (had to be washable), coordinate with a blue and white porcelain collection AND a good price. This set was not only a huge bargain, it has been the perfect choice. The material, stitching and overall workmanship is excellent. The comforter is a nice large size for my Cal-King pillow top mattress having a good drop on all three sides with the length almost to the headboard. Not easy to find. I love the way it looks. I don't use it for warmth (I fold it down to the end at night), but I'm sure it would be comfy. Other reviewers noted that the sheet set was a disappointment, however I prefer a "crisp" sheet and I'm happy with them. The only issue for me is the sheet set comes out of the dryer rather wrinkled, especially the lace trim. But, I'm learning to live with it since I refuse to go back to the "good old days" and iron them! Even though I knew the comforter would not fit into my washing machine, I wanted to be able to launder it at home. I have always used the bathtub to hand wash my heirloom quilts, so I tried that method. But this is a big comforter and weighs a lot when wet, so it was a huge workout. I also thought I had ruined it as the batting seemed to lump up. However, once I pressed out the water and hung it up outside to dry, it turned out beautifully. Lately I have been hanging the dry comforter outside to spot clean then rinse with the hose to get out all the residue. Also, I found that the color is not affected at all when I use a bleach solution to get out stains, even though it is not recommended. I'm extremely happy with this set and, as always, the quick delivery from Overstock.

I received this and didn't think I would like it since I am not a big fan of flowers and roses, but I must say that once I put it on my bed, I just wanted to dive right in. It is like a cloud and I get the best rest ever. I made my room over, my daughter just loves to lay in bed with me and watch TV. It makes me remember when I was a small child and laying in bed with my mother.

I was so excited right when I opened the package! It's just as pretty in person as it is in the pictures. I, too, prefer higher thread count sheets, but these sheets are perfectly soft and so pretty with the lace detail at the top. I had found some Sophia curtains elsewhere online and was anxious to see if it would all match. It all went perfectly together. Such a delicate and classic look for our bedroom. My husband walked in to see the makeover and said, Aww, it's really pretty! I would also like to commend Overstock.com for their easy transaction time and more importantly quick shipment! I am very happy with purchasing the Laura Ashley Bed in a Bag and Sheet Set. The quality is outstanding and the color was exactly as viewed on the website. There is much more detailing to all the pieces than what appears on the website. The set looks gorgeous in my bedroom. I really did get a lot of value for the price! My package was delivered ahead of schedule and couldn't be more pleased with the entire shopping experience.

It is truly beautiful. but the fabric feels coarse and not soft at all. I hear you can wash the comforter to make it softer, but it doesn't fit my washer...

I ordered the Laura Ashley Sophia comforter set , with the sheets included.. It is so beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Excellent quality and beautiful workmanship in details. Looks perfect and makes my room look complete.

I have this whole set for the last five years, it is still in great condition, but ordered another one, just incase they did not have this pattern, when mine finally wore out.
