These sheets are very nice. Fit perfect. Not your flimsy flannel; nice & thick; well constructed. I purchased 3 sets: COTTAGE ROSE * very pretty - VICTORIA * (pic not shown; beautiful petite floral climbing vines in a light chocolate brown with an off white background) - SPRING BLOOM - Perfect for those chilly nights in March; pretty colors. I purchased these in queen size.
Received the sheets and with the bedbug scare going on, I washed and dried first. Put the sheets on the bed and it is like falling into a slice of heaven. They are SOOOO soft and luxurious feeling. My only comment is that if you do not have an extra high mattress, the sheets are a bit large and move around. I will be getting the garters for sheets to hold them on more securely. Other than that, I am giving them as Christmas presents to my married daughters.
I recently purchased the Laura Ashely flannel sheets. They are fabulous. Very pretty, VERY soft, and through several washings they have remained fluffy and soft and are not beginning to show any signs of wear and tear. Would highly recommend.
These sheets are RIDICULOUSLY warm. I admit that I am totally late to the game, but when I finally started researching sheets (what a silly subject to "research,") I found that flannel sheets might solve some of our problems, because my husband is a sheet SNOB. He will only sleep on sheets he deems "soft enough," even though he has no measurable definition of "soft," leading to some sheet purchases that left only one of us satisfied (me: I liked the pattern).
I get really, really, really cold at night. My husband does not. Because of this, my mother-in-law bought me a twin sized electric blanket for our bed, but that helped only when I remembered to turn it on before we went to bed, otherwise I was settling into a frigid sheet set, and eventually warming up. Enter the flannel sheets. They are not biting cold when I slip into them, even if I forget my electric blanket, and now, I don't need to sleep with the electric blanket on all night. Now I turn it on during my bedtime routine if the night is particularly frigid, and turn it off when I settle in to bed.
Long story short, my husband was satisfied with the softness, and I was happy with the warmth, and everyone won. I am considering buying a second set this year so that we can change our sheets instead of wearing them down with frequent washing.
Only thing I wish was different about this product was the price. But it was worth it due to the product we received. They are great quality and extremely soft! My daughter climbed into bed and was so excited about how soft and comfortable they were. Not only great quality, but they are extremely adorable for a vintage or shabby chic type look. Have washed them twice and have had no issues with them so far.
these are great sheets! I bought a set for the master bedroom at least 2 years, recently bought a 2nd set for the guest room because they've proven to wear so well. They're soft and fluffy, good fit, and have withstood significant use (i.e., washing).
I love the softness of this set, I'll certainly watch for other patterns. The only shortfall I can id is the top sheet is a little short side to side, length is good. We have them on our bed this summer and the weight is light and comfy (all season comfort)
Hello cory771, it doesn't look like the sheets will fit, the fitted sheet pocket depth is 14 inches. Thank you for shopping with us.overstockcustomercare1 on Jan 27, 2014
I have a twin - pillow top mattress. They are more than enough for that depth. Almost more than enough.scribbler66 on Feb 6, 2014
These sheets run large. I have a 14" TempurPedic and there is no problem with the fit, even after lots of washings. I don't know if the queen size would accommodate 18" though.lastminuteone on Mar 25, 2014
Fits my new Beautyrest with Euro pillow top fine. Never pops off. fabric gives a little during wear. Love these sheets and have purchased 3 sets.jjjm22 on Apr 29, 2014

What is the flannel weight? A number of the options say 6oz, but this one gives no weight.pzrs9112 on Oct 26, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Hello pzrs9112, We do not have the weight in ounces, but the weight of the flannel is 165 gsm. Hopefully that helps..overstockcustomercare1 on Oct 29, 2013
I ordered these sheets - the flannel is very soft and cozy, but I find it hard to believe it is 6oz weight flannel. More likely it is a lighter weight and this flannel is good for year-round.kdaniel828 on Nov 25, 2013
No idea, but the weight seems just fine to me. Not some thin piece of junk; good quality and soft!!!jjjm22 on Jan 24, 2014

No, the fitted sheet is the sheet that covers the mattress. It has elastic at the bottom so that you can pull it over the edge of the mattress.dearsweetbriar on Jan 15, 2013
No, it's a fitted sheet with elastic around to fit snuggly over a mattresschrysann on Mar 23, 2013

For this pattern it is a jacquard weave and at this time the thread count is not available.overstockcustomercare1 on Dec 12, 2012
I wondered the same thing about the flannel sheet set. I took a chance without knowing, though, and I am not disappointed. These flannel sheets are so soft and cozy to climb into! The flannel is a high quality, not a loose weave. We have slept on them for two winters now and they've held up fine. I'm very pleased with them.happynhmama on Mar 21, 2013
