I am a repeat customer: this is the second time I have purchased these towels. These are big, thick, comfortable towels. They keep their look and feel through years of washing. I have not found a comparable product anywhere else for the price. I hardily recommend this product to anyone for personal use or as a great gift.

Before I purchased these, I'd read a few negative reviews about how the towels fell apart at the seams after a few washings. However, I also read a lot of rave reviews, so I figured I'd take the risk. Lo and behold, on washing #5 the stitching began to unravel at the seams on two of the towels. Caveat emptor.

I may be a naive male homewares shopper, but when the blurb told me 6 towels, I expected 6 towels, not 2 towels, a couple of facewashers and a couple of hand towels.

Bought these towels based on reviews and was thrilled when I received them -- thick, comfy and large; just perfect. Color was just right so I immediately ordered the matching bath mats. Washed for remove excess lint. Bathroom looked great! However, on 3rd wash -- the two bath towels fell completely apart literally at the seams. Washing machine was left full of red strings. Now they're nothing more than expensive rags. Very disappointing.

I have a pool and a 10 year old son so big towels are a must in my house. The colors are good and quality of the cotton is very good-the size is exceptional. If you are buying for the beach understand these are heavy towels and trying to cary four or more of them together will add a noticable amount of weight to you load. if I didnt have so many towels I would order more.

They fall apart every time I take them from the dryer

These towels are big, perfect for wrapping around yourself and still leaving some towel for your face or hair. Great look and feel. Not the last word on absorbency but still way better than most.

the product decsription vs product received was accurate however i was disappointed when they started ripping along the edge on the 2nd wash.

I read the reviews that warned about the side edging coming undone, but decided to chance it anyway. Well, only one of the two towels have had that happen, but I am sure it is only a matter of time before the second one does too. However, these towels are only for my use and will not be used by guests, so I am more concerned with my comfort rather than the edging. And these towels are VERY COMFORTABLE. They are probably the softest towels I have ever used. They soak up water like mad, and I do not have any trouble with lint. However, I did wash them twice in a row when I first got them. Overall I am pleased with the towels, but if I bought them with the idea they would be seen by company, I probably wouldn't be as satisfied.

I bought these towels and thought they were great, just like the other person that reviewed them. After a couple of washes, they fell apart, and now tey are only good for giving the dogs a bath. They came apart at the seams, the material frayed, and I was extremely disappointed.

I've been using these towels for 6 months and they are not as absorbent as they should be. Yes they're soft and thick and comfortable, but they don't dry very well. We thought that after several washings and dryings, they would improve.

These towels are huge! They are of the finest quality cotton, super soft and unbelievably absorbent! Luxurious! A real value.

This bath sheet is plenty large for a big guy. Satisfactory.

They are GREAT!!! I have always wanted some big towles like the ones I get to use when I stay at a nice hotel, I have found them. I didn't know what bath sheets were so I used the instant chat option to get more info about these.. I was so happy to "talk" to a knoweledgeable sales person while sitting in front of my PC. I now know that when bath towels get this big they are called bath sheets. They are big and thick and very absorbent. The color is perfect, just as described in the add. I shop Overstock.com frequently and so when I needed new, big towels I checked here first. After finding what I wanted, I checked prices at three other places I know have good prices on similar bath and home items and none of them came close. I washed them when I got them and when I used one the next morning I was very happy about just how soft and absorbant it is. Thanks Overstock.com, they are just what I wanted.

We needed new towels in our master bath and these were a good buy. They are thick and very absorbent, and have a nice "feel" to them. I ordered bath sheets as well as hand towels. When they arrived, I thought the "chocolate" colors were different dye lots, as they did not appear to match. After I washed and folded them, though, I could see they did match. The first impression may have been because of the nap and the way in which they were folded. I am quite pleased, and even my (fussy) husband likes them. Another good deal from Overstock.

Towels are very thick and soft. My only dissapointment was that I ordered them in Mocha and they came in chocolate brown. The Mocha picture looks as though they should be dark beige. The are definitely a deep chocolate brown. Almost wondering if they sent me the wrong color. I am putting these in a different bathroom because of the color, and will order another lighter color for my bath. Other than that, the towels are a great buy.

I purchased these for my master bath to have them monogramed and to hang as a display inside my bath. These are not as thick as the bath sheets I have previously purchased from Restoration Hardware. Although these towels are very nice...and a great value for the money ( and nicer than most seen in a guest bathroom) .I have decided to use them in my guest bathroom instead and buy the thicker towels at Restoration hardware for my master bathroom.

I bought these towels nine months ago and except for a few snags after washings they were OK. Recently I laid one on the couch to protect the couch from a new puppy. Be aware that after a few scratches from a little puppy this towel looked like thread spaghetti. I thought it had to be a defective towel but a similar thing happened on another towel. I bought $400 worth of these towels, I have 10 yr old towels that are old rag towels that I use in my dogs kennel that look way better than this towel after only one encounter with a dog. If you decide to buy these I would recommend buying just one set and seeing how that goes, they snag EXTREMELY easily.

I have seen these same towels on other sites (same manufacturer) and they are $10 more per towel..... These are great towels and they hold up very well through the wash. My husband finds them absorbent and I like how they are soooo luxurious.

These towels are large and think and soooooo wonderful!!!
