Kristie Medallion 500 Thread Count Duvet Set

Not very soft and the print has some issues, it looks like the dye wasn't dry and someone smeared it...wouldn't buy again. Found the same thing at *** for a third the cost.

Wow, this duvet set is absolutely amazing! I buy from overstock based on the reviews, so I like to always leave feedback to help out someone else. I bought the King size in Blue and it is AMAZING! I know there is A LOT of confusion as to what color the "blue" is actually is- so here is my take, it is a shade of blue just not baby or light blue as it may appear in the picture on overstock, it is more of a neutral color blue like a slate or grayish blue (same color scheme as like a khaki color, very neutral) and the medallions are a gorgeous chocolate brown and there are highlights of white in them- GORGEOUS! On top of that, it is such high quality! The seems and buttons are flawless! I was going for a morrocan theme in my room and this set exceeded my expectations! This set is work 6x the amount! If this is your style, you will not be disappointed! As for the size, I bought a new king size down comforter from overstock to go with this duvet and made sure to check the measurements and it worked out perfect! Hope this helps!

I ordered the blue set, and was glad that I chose to get the 500tc. It's very soft and has a nice sheen. The only thing is that the pattern is hard to see on the picture, but basically it is the same pattern on the pic repeated over and over. I thought that there might be a large medallion in the center or something but no. It's a really busy pattern. As for the color, it's between a light blue and green sea color. Very nice dark dark brown for the pattern print. I like how the opening for the shams is like a regular pillow case instead of down the middle.

I ordered the blue duvet in a king size and am extremely happy with the color, pattern, feel, quality, and durability of this product. The color is a very subdued and earthy blue color- not vibrant and definitely not a baby blue color. The only issue I have with the one I received is that it only fits a very small and thin king sized insert. Prior to wrestling with mine to fill it with a plush king comforter that I already had I was under the impression that a king was a king. Now, however, I realize that not all king sized duvets/ comforters are compatible. I recommend you measure the insert you plan to use to be sure it will fit. My duvet was 98 x 99 and the insert was 110 x 98 (not to mention several inches thick). I had to down grade the quality and thickness of the insert in order to use the duvet. I must say, though, that now it is all figured out and I absolutely love it! Great purchase!
