It shedds............... This is niced and cozy but it ruined my sheets and continues to shed even after a multitude of washings. I will be replacing this very soon.

The look feel and price of this blanket was amazing.. or so I thought. After just 2 washes the blanket has lost it's shape, as well as it's look. Not to mention it sheds very bad. every time I wash the sheets that were with the blanket, I have to use a lint roller to get off the abundant amount of lint from the blanket. I have since returned the blanket!

First off, two average sized people can be in bed and blanket covers you both because it's "oversized" and hangs far enough over the bed so you're not pulling the blanket off each other. Second, it's soft and seems to be easy to care for. My previous blanket was an open weave so it would catch on things.

In the past, I purchased a bamboo blanket from Overstock and loved it. It was warm and soft and a delight to snuggle up in. I chose to buy this new one because it is oversized and described as hanging down nicely over the side of the bed, which it does. It doesn't feel as warm and hefty as my old blanket and it snags so easily when my two cats jump on the bed. It would be fair to say I like the blanket, but don't love it and couldn't recommend it, especially for $$$ price I paid.

First 'experienced' this blanket at B&B on Nantucket. So very soft. Found it online! Then found best price at Overstock. Fast delivery. Very very happy with the purchase. Then bought one for friend who wanted it for her birthday present.

I was looking for a nice quality blanket to use on my bed between the sheets and the duvet cover. This blanket is soft and luxurious and I'm very happy with it. It is warm, but thin, so it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the bed. The blanket is very soft which is a bonus. I could see where it may snag easily, as I like the weave design but it could pull if not careful. Because this blanket is an in-between for me I am not worried about it. I have not yet washed this blanket so I can't speak of the shedding issue mentioned on here. So far I have not any shedding issue using the blanket right out of the bag.

I need to donate this blanket, it leaves a mess every time I put it on or off the bed. I am not sure if it's the blend but I will think twice before I buy bamboo/cotton bedding.

I would give this blanket five stars if it didn't shed. It's super soft, warm and comfortable, but it sheds. I've washed it several times and it still sheds. Besides the shedding, I'm happy with this purchase.

This is the softest blanket we have ever encountered anywhere! The reason for 4 stars is the blanket sheds copiously even after several washings.

I love these blankets. Just the right weight for our moderate weather in Texas. They are the softest blankets I've ever felt. The only not-so-perfect thing is they do snag fairly easy.

Great blanket... SO Soft and washed up perfect. Reminds me of a soft baby blanket. I agree probably not dog friendly, but a luxury blanket & would highly recommend it. Great, Great is all I can think to say.

soft and cozy. When I hing it out to dry some stains got all over the blanket from a nearby tree, but they washed right out in cold water and bleach and the blanket is still good as new.

Blanket is very soft and a great size for a king bed.

Immediately after this arrived, I had to buy another one. It's so soft and such a perfect weight. I recommend washing it before use (just to get the chemicals off). One wash later and it is even soften than before. Absolutely no pilling or balls with a cold wash / low dry. I feel like I'm sleeping in a cloud now! Everyone who comes to my apartment asks me where they can buy one. Treat yourself to this -- Merry Christmas to all :)

True king size, this is a perfect blanket for under a quilt, just the right weight for summer,too!

This blanket is very warm so it makes a great addition to a comforter when it is really cold. It will also be the perfect blanket in the spring and early summer when it is getting warm outside but still chilly at night. My last one held up for 15 years so hopefully this one will too.

Best blanket I ever owned. Plenty of room side to side so two people stay covered. Also length is great and it stays tucked in. Plenty warm, but not too warm for most summer nights.

We wanted a nice looking bed spread for our bed and this worked exactly how we hoped. Keep in mind that it is part cotton, so it's not warm on it's own (with just a sheet) for under 60 degrees. We put it over an alpaca blanket.
