IT LOOKS A LOT BETTER ON SCREEN, THE COLORS ARE TOO DARK AND THE MUSTARD COLOR THOES NOT BLEND WELL WITH THE OTHER COLORS!!Read More
Perfect colors, cozy and warm.Read More
Love the look of this quilt set. It looks great on our bed and is very comfortable and well made. We liked it so much, we bought an extra set for another room.Read More
I purchased this quilt to replace a similar one we'd had for several years. Comparing the 2 quilts: The weight and quality of both quilts are excellent. The main difference is the price. The previous quilt had cost me almost double what this quilt did! FYI: The colors on this quilt are a bit brighter than they appear in the picture ( but they are very pretty) and I love that it is reversible to various shades of blue. We have a king-size bed, and the king-size quilt was plenty big. I'm really pleased with both the quality and value.Read More
Very pleased with the purchase of the quilt. There is some loose stitching. We have dogs and the multi color helps to conceal dog hair. There is more peach than expected in the quilt but overall very pleased with the purchase.Read More
This is a terrific buy. Our house is set up to be dog friendly and this is the best spread I have found to date. Super long, super durable, great colors for the room.Read More
This is a very attractive quilt set--I love the offbeat yet nature-related colors. The blue reverse is a nice touch, too. I wanted a spread to use in warmer months instead of a comforter, which has gotten too warm. I use this spread with a light fleece blanket (it's still pretty wintry in Wisconsin) but can take off the blanket when the weather warms and the quilt will be perfect alone. My only problems with this set are that the spread is square-cornered rather than curved on the bottom corners, which means there are long points of extra fabric at the foot of the bed. I ordered a King size for my rather high Queen bed because I wanted the spread to reach the floor; it's actually about an inch+ too long. I will probably "tailor" these issues myself, since I have a sewing machine. Lastly, the shams, which are also King-size, are several inches too long for King-size pillows! I may shorten them, also, or just fold them behind the pillows where they meet at the center of the bed.Read More
This is a very nice quilt; exactly as described. I had hoped I could use this king size quilt on my queen bed without the need of a bedskirt but found that was not true. Although it's quite a bit longer than the queen, it wasn't long enough to cover the sides of the bed. I probably would have been better off with the full/queen size.but that was my judgement error. All in all, it is a well made product, colors look great, and I have no complaints.Read More
I am very happy with the quality of this quilt! It is warm without being too heavy. The colors on both sides are vibrant and for the price you definitely can't beat it. I would definitely recommend it.Read More
Needed a washable quilt that was pet friendly. This is both beautiful, coordinates with many colors, and looks great on the bed. Thank you Overstock! Love reading other people's reviews.Read More

are the shams king sized too? They look like regular sized shams.
Thank you for contacting us, calmom54. Yes, the shams are King size also. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Is this primarily red? It's looks like it has quite a bit of burnt orange, true?
Hello 160crest, I hope your day is going well. The reviews do state there is orange in the quilt along with the other colors listed in the product description. Thank you for shopping with us.
The color is not a true red, more raspberry. It sort of looks red since it is next to the brown stripe. Also, be advised the peach color sort of dominates. I'm not a fan of peach but it does okay with the quilt. Would have preferred the peach to be more burnt orange but the overall impression is still more masculine than feminine.
Yes- the dominate color is the orange- which wasn't what I expected, but I like it.

Popular Types of Quilts
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
