I love this comforter. Very heavy, tapestry-like fabric beautifully patterned. Orangy red with paisley print. Very custom-made looking. The burnt orange satiny trim changes color when you look at it from different angles - quite unusual, very beautiful. I only wish draperies were available. What a great find!! Thank you Overstock.

I'm glad that I read the reviews. This is definately not the orange that shows in the picture. I order it knowing what the previous reviewers had said and hoped that it was more reddish. It is exactly the color I hoped for burgendy/red with hints of gold, and the satin can take on many colors depending on the lighting in the room. Mostly it looks copperish, also showed hints of green. Very heavy material, it will definately be good for the cold NY winters. Quite a bargain for all that came with it and it is oversized!!

This set is really nice -- good quality and appearance. More red than anticipated, but enough terracotta to go in a different direction. Comforter is very heavy, so I recommend getting a blanket to sleep with instead. We have brown/black furniture in our room and it looks great!

This is a gorgeous set. This comforter has a high quality feel and look. It transformed my guest room making it look rich and inviting. It also came with lots of decorative pillows. So many pillows, that I don't even have room for the last set of shams it came with. The only reason I gave this set a 4 versus a 5-star rating is because of the color. The picture had me believing I was going to receive an orangey-vibrate-looking set. Instead, it's a more bronze-burgundy color. I was disappointed about that, but I decided to keep the set anyway because of it's overall look and feel. I recommend this set.

Although the color wasn't as bright as expected based on the picture, the quality and detail are great. The set looks good on and the oversized comforter hangs well.

This is one of the best deals I found on OS. I have been shopping here for many years, and I love the deals I find here. I ordered this set with bunch of other stuff, but for some reason the delivery was delayed.The tracking number was printed wrong on the website.I went online and used the online chat function and a rep immediately helped me. He took the problem more seriously than I did, and said that he will fix the problem and send me an email in 2 business days. 2 days later I received an email with the updated tracking number. Then the package was at my door step the next day. You have to think that this is a big business and they probably deal with thousands of orders daily. But the customer service was awesome and they made it right for me.As for the quality, I love it love it love it. It's like sleeping in clouds, especially after I got a memory foam mattress from OS. I wrote a review for that as well after lots of research. I will get another set for my guest bedroom soon.

The Kashmir by DreamFilt 10-piece Oversized Comforter Ensemble arrived quick and well packed. The ensemble is very elegant looking, fabric is luxurious and the colors are rich and beautiful. Although in the Web it looks quite orange, the reality is that the color is much more muted oranges and copper and gold with some satin hues of green/gold; extremely beautiful and elegant. All the pillows and pillow cases are great; perhaps a little over kill in the number of pillows however they are very nice and I use the3 large one in my living room, since the colors are good for my decor. It is oversize, so plan for a high bed or the skirt would be to long; bed risers would work or pin it up. I highly recommend this item, I was pleasantly surprised!

I got my comforter set yesterday, so I'm still getting used to it. For some reason I thought that it would be a little lighter than it was, even though I read the other reviews. Even so, it is very elegant, and the color works with my other decor. The overall color is rust, or copper. There are some other colors in the fabric, but when you step away, the predominant color is rust. The pattern is subtle, so it blends with my traditional oriental rugs. (They have rust in the mix.) The workmanship is excellent. There are even zippers on two of the three decorator pillows, so that you can remove and dry clean the covers. The cover does change with different lighting.I have some old Ralph Lauren sheets with similar colors, so I will be using those with the comforter set. All in all, it was a great value. I have paid much more for a comforter and bed skirt alone. The number of pillows and covers included was a bit of overkill, though. I am using some in my living room.

The Kashimar 10 piece set is beautiful. Although, I was looking for more of orange coloring, once I opened up the package, the rust color and burgundy is stunning. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. The decorative pillows is an added plus. I just wished that it had the sheets to match it. All in All I love it

I was very excited when I received my new comforter set. I was a little disappointed when I took it out of the package because the color isn't nearly as bright orange as I expected. Although the comfortor is a more muted color, it is absoluely stunning. And when they say "oversized", they mean it! When I put it on my bed, the comforter falls to about 6 inches from the floor. I definetly recommend getting some bed risers to lift the bed. Also, the fabric is of very good quality; it's thick and expensive looking. What a great value!

This is an incredible value for such a beautiful comforter set.I've been wanting something unusual and a bit exotic; this set appears to satisfy my picky taste.Here are a few observations:1) Color: Agreed that this is not at all the color in the picture. It is a rich (but not dark) red with dark gold/copper paisley detail and copper satin trim. Some reviewers have said they think there is green in the fabric; I think it's more an oxidized copper (okay, greenISH, but not true green).2) Fabric: This is a woven tapestry-like material. Based on the picture, I was kind of expecting velvet material; it took me a few minutes to get over it not being a lush velvet, and I'm a bit concerned that I'll have to lock my cat out of the bedroom because his claws may pull out threads. However, it's so beautiful and such a great value - I'll take my chances.3) Weight: Heavy!! These reviewers aren't kidding! The label on the box said the entire set was 27 lbs. I'm sure this will be great during the winters, but I'll definitely have a light blanket under for the rest of the year. BUT the aesthetic effect is rich and luxurious, so I'll take heavy over dinky and light!4) Quality and Appearance: I laid out the set on my current bed (low-profile full size bed- I'm upgrading soon), and although I can't get the full effect, I can say this; it looks WAY better out of the bag, with the light picking up the different tones and textures. The roughness of the woven material with the shiny smoothness of the satin - it's lovely.5) Negatives: Only negative quality element is a bit of a chemical smell. Also, all the pillows may (just may) be a bit overwhelming. I've never had more than a couple small throws and head-pillows, but... I can always use the extras on my red sofa. I had been looking for a long time for the perfect bedding and this is it. Not only is it quality fabric, it is well made and it is comfortable. My cats love it. Plus you get the bonus of all the pillows to really make the bed complete. Definitely worth it.

I've never seen so many pieces for this price. I would expect to pay closer to $1000 for this fabric in a comforter, dust ruffle, 3 euro shams, 2 king shams and 3 throw pillows in this size. Great looking bed set. I've got a tall king mattress and haven't been able to find something truly oversized until now. This is a perfect fit for my bed. The color is rich and beautiful. Very pleased.

We have an extra-deep king mattress and have had trouble finding a comforter that was large enough. This one is beautiful, of exceptional quality, and is the perfect size for our 23" deep mattress. I am pleased with the entire set. All of the shams and decorative pillows are very well tailored, the fabric is beautiful, yet appears durable. I would highly recommend this set.

This is a pretty comforter but I'm surprised and disappointed with its color. I was expecting an orange comforter (with some red and some brown) but it's not orange at all and it's not what I think I'm seeing in the picture. This comforter screams RED and another color that I can't make out - its not orange, not gold, not bronze but somewhere in between, and though the comforter as a whole is pretty, I'm not sure if its a pretty color. I'm going to show it to some friends and family and decide from there if I plan to keep it or return it. I recommend this comforter with some reservation.

I have been very pleased with my comforter set. The color shown on the web page is true. The quality is good and when the ad says oversized it is oversized. The comforter covers my new mattress great.I am glad I order this set. This purchase was the first one I've done with overstock.com and the whole process was simple and easy. I will use overstock.com in the future.

For years I have been looking for the just right comforter set. This is it. The set is very high quality, made of rich fabrics and sewn very well. The color appears very different in various lights. Overall I would call it a rust color, but other times it looks bugandy. The shiny trim fabric is irridescent and reflects light orangish rust to greenish rust. Other colors woven in the main fabric are green and gold. The comforter is very heavy, but not terribly hot to sleep in. It is oversized and the skirt verges on being too long but that is not a problem. I just can't say enough good things about this set. I am very pleased.

The color is not at all what it shows online or on the photo label. We were looking forward to receiving it & when it arrived we were completely disappointed! We thought it would be as shown with the vibrant orange colors. Ours arrived and it was a very unattractive olive & burgundy color with some metalics but, no orange color was in it what so ever in it. Needless to say we are returning it.
