Dimensions
Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor.
We recommend that this comforter is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

Bearding problem
Very poor material. It bearded so badly that after a few days my red sheets were completely covered in white fibers. I do have to say it is warm. I might use it like a sleeping bag on camping trips as that is what the material feels like. It will not be going back on the bed.

The Best Ever!
I've gone the route of the down comforter with duvet cover. Never again! THIS blanket is FABULOUS!!!! Lightweight, warm, made in The USA, terrific quality, and it also serves as my bedspread. Finally, I'm found exactly what I'd hoped for. I'm ordering a second one right now.

Blanket is super soft.
I thought this blanket was well worth the money. It feels luxurious, the color was true to web, and is well sown. The only negative thing is that some of the square pockets weren't filled with as much down as others and a few seemed to have very little if any at all.

Like sleeping under a candy wrapper
The blanket is well constructed and warm but the fabric crinkles like you are sleetping under a candy wrapper. Tried washing it to see if that would take away the crinkle. It did not. Should have just returned it and not washed it. I would not recommend this blanket.

Love this blanket
I looked for a long time for a blanket like this and read many reviews. I I really like the color and the softness. It is "noisy" but I kind of like that. Some feathers came out when I first opened it but not anymore. I have only had it for a few weeks and have only washed it the one time when I first got it. and it washed up nicely. I ordered the King size for my Queen bed and it is almost too large but that really does not matter. I would definately purchase more for the other beds in my home.

not what I expected
The product arrived within a reasonable amout of time, but when it arrived it was not the same color advertised in listing. I ordered the red, although the color name was something else. When it arrived it was more of a purple-ish color, and I quickly found that the feathers do not stay in the blanket. The next day there were feathers all over my bed and bedroom. I was very disappointed. I do have to say I have ordered many things through overstock and have been very happy with my purchases. I just won't be ordering any more Joseph Abboud down blankets!!!

Great Buy
This is an over-sized king blanket perfect for my California King bed because it reaches all sides more than adequately. I'm not so sure that the word Straw defines the colour as well as it could since I picture straw in a field with the sunlight shining on it, making it a softer yellow than this blanket which has a fair amount of gold in the yellow. Still, I like it a lot and it's a wonderful bargain and I would definitely recommend. In a very short time, my mind will accept the change in decor in my bedroom and I will not remember the down blanket I have taken off. I use this blanket in the winter in place of the down comforter which gets too hot so that the colour is totally exposed as part of the room's decor. Great find.

the compromise blanket
Being a middle-aged woman, I tend to run hot. Why don't middle-aged men? We are always in a struggle about the bed, house, car being too warm/too cold. This down blanket is our compromise. I get to turn the heat down at night and my husband gets flannel sheets and the down blanket on the bed. We use to have a down comforter that was suppose to be made for warmer climates, but I cooked with that on the bed. With a down blanket and flannel sheets, I can add coverage as needed. And my husband has the warmth he needs. I took one star off because I feel like the color has more yellow in it than the picture. But in terms of quality, I believe it deserves 5 stars.
