I have several sets of Joseph Abboud pillows and these are by far the worst JA pillows I have ever bought. They shed their stuffing and I had white lint all over my maroon comforter from just taking them out of the wrapping they came in. They are hard and not comfortable. I sent them back. But I will still buy Joseph Abboud pillows in the future because they are usually of high quality and comfortable. I love the JA pillows that I have now. I was very disappointed in this set. I can't believe these are really JA but they are.Read More
I liked that you get two pillows and they are reasonably priced. They were not as firm as I expected but I do not wake up during the night trying to get comfortable. I would agree that these pillows are good for a back or side sleeper has I start on my side and end up on my back and my neck ache after a nights of sleep on my old pillows is gone.Read More
The only down fall is the smell that comes with the pillow. It is a factory smell i am sure but i left my pillows outside for a while and they still smell. I don't know if they are washable or not. But my husband did like them for ChristmasRead More

How to Pick a Pillow
Even if you have a top-of-the-line mattress and an 800 thread count sheet set, your bed is not likely to be comfortable without the right pillow tucked under your cheek. Nothing ruins a good night's sleep like a bad pillow. Unfortunately, it's easy to underestimate the value of a good pillow. Not only do good pillows add aesthetic value to your bed, but they can also be the difference between a restful night or an aching back and neck. Pillows come in different shapes, sizes and firmness. Take a look below to learn how to pick a pillow.
Down Pillow Fact Sheet

These all-natural pillows are a good choice for those who find their head to be too warm at night, as down allows for airflow through the pillow, keeping the head cool. Available in a variety of lofts, down pillows can be filled to match the density you prefer. Read over this down pillow fact sheet to get the scoop on this terrific bedding.
Bed Pillows vs Throw Pillows
Dress up your bed with both throw pillows and bed pillows for a cozy, relaxing spot. Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
FAQs about Sateen Sheets
Sateen sheets are high-quality sheets woven in the same way as traditional satin. Unlike satin, sateen sheets are made with more common fibers, such as cotton. Sateen sheets are soft to the touch and allow skin to slide smoothly into bed. Sateen sheets are available in very high thread counts, and as such, are quite durable. Take a look below for some of the most frequently asked questions about sateen sheets.
How to Wash Throw Pillows
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.
Top 5 Alternative Pillows
Having the right pillow can help induce sleep and extend a good night's rest. Some people, whether because of allergies or personal preference, avoid traditional feather and down pillows in favor of modern ecologically-friendly and animal-friendly alternative pillows. From professional-grade buckwheat to memory foam, the top 5 alternative pillows welcome tired heads with the best in quality and comfort.
Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body. Down vs Memory Foam Pillows
You never realize how many muscles it takes to turn your head until you have a stiff neck, and the wrong pillow can leave your neck stiff for days. A good pillow, however, provides the neck and back support you need, and this depends on how you sleep and what you're looking for in a pillow. Compare the qualities of down pillows and memory foam pillows to see which will provide you with the comfort level you need.
Outdoor Cooking Equipment Checklist for Hiking
Every pound counts when you are on a hiking trip, so you'll want outdoor cooking equipment that won't slow you down. When you go hiking, not all outdoor cooking equipment or outdoor grills will do the job. Although perfect for other camping situations, most outdoor gas grills won't work for hiking, and a dutch oven is completely out of the question for a backpacking trip. After a few miles, you'll probably regret packing just any old cooking gear you had on hand. When you go hiking, make sure to take camping cooking equipment designed with backpacking in mind. Here are a few items you shouldn't forget on your next backpacking trip.
Best Bathroom Accessory Ideas
The bathroom is a key space in any home because it is an intimate area where you bathe and groom. Make it your haven or turn a shared bathroom into an inviting space by furnishing it with decorative and useful pieces. Look for bathroom accessories that help you relax and add to the decor. Here are some of the best bathroom accessory ideas to help you make the most out of your bathroom. Massaging bath mat: Massaging bath mats are bathroom accessories that can change your bathing experience. Suction cups hold these mats in place in your bathtub. By turning on one of these mats, you'll receive a full-body massage as you bathe. They're great for letting your circulation flow after a stressful day. Massaging bath mats are a worthwhile addition to your bathroom. Not only do they help you relax, but they also keep you from slipping in the tub. Select a mat in a color that is close to the one of your bathtub to keep the decor of the room uniform. Decorative mirrors: Decorative mirrors are useful bathroom accessories. Replace your plain bathroom mirror with one that has accents or an interesting shape. This new mirror will enliven the room while maintaining its purpose as a mirror. You can also use it for practical purposes, such as hiding a storage unit. Look for multipurpose mirrors that open to reveal a medicine cabinet. Bath pillows: Bath pillows can help you relax in your bathtub after a difficult day. A bath pillow offers support to your neck to keep it from straining when you lie down. They are convenient because they're small and take up very little space. Automatic soap dispensers: Automatic soap dispensers are very useful for your bathroom. They ensure that users will have plenty of soap for cleaning and sanitizing their hands. Soap dispensers are perfect for bathrooms that have lots of visitors, such as the one near your living room or in an office. An automatic dispenser detects a hand and dispenses a regulated amount of soap. View All Bath Accessories Back to Guides Directory View All Bath Accessories
