The bedspread is very pretty . It comes with directions to wash and dry in a commercial washer and dryer before using (expensive and inconvienient). This however does not take care of the lint it sheds. It's everywhere! Our house is covered with it.

It does shed extremely bad and I'm glad I knew this before I purchased it. I washed it and dried it 4 times before I put it on the bed. I had to clean out the lint trap on the dryer between each dryer cycle until the last time I washed it. But it was well worth all the washings. It didn't shrink and it is beautiful on my bed. No more shedding.

I love the bedspread. It's one flaw is that the chenille sheds on my blanket. I can live with that because I really like the looks of the bedspread

I only washed the item twice, once may have been enough...NO lint problems at all. High quality, great item.

I'd give it 5 stars for how it looks, but 1 star for the fact that it sheds. I liked this bedspread a lot, the pattern and colors are quite beautiful and unusual, it's very thick and soft BUT -- it sheds like crazy. I put it on the bed and when I pulled it back, the blanket underneath was completely covered with fuzz. There was a note in the package advising that it should be machine washed and dried several times before using, and to clean your dryer filter mid-cycle, and this seemed like it would likely be an ongoing problem so I returned it.

I love the design of this bedspread and the fact that it actually fits on a queen bed with plenty to cover the pillows. On the negative side. I washed it 3 x in my supersize washer and dryer. Still has tons of lint coming off but after 2 full days, ENOUGH! Also some of the fringe unraveled which is very disappointing.

An extreme amount of lint on first wash but still love it

This products sheds and fuzzes up terribly. I took it to a commercial cleaners hoping that after a good wash and dry it would be be ok - but it is not. I have always folded my clothes on my bed, but they all pick up lint.

I love this bedspread. The colors are true to the picture, and the feel is so warm and comfortable. It does have alot of lint but that will be solved once I wash it I hope.

I have never had a chenille bedspread that sheds as much as this one. You cannot even walk by it without being covered in blue fuzz. Sheets, blanket and pillows are covered in this fuzz and it's very hard to get off clothes. The bedspread is absolutely beautiful except for this annoying feature. I even tried to vacuum the fuzz off with no success.
