'Jessica' Chenille Mint/ Chocolate Queen-size Bedspread

I love my new bedspread! It's beautiful, rich, and comfy. I love the fact that you don't need to use pillow shams bedspread is long enough to cover pillows and then add some throw pillows to complete the look.

This is a beautiful spread, made in India and luxurious, but why, oh why, can't they put an appropriate amount of chenille in these, instead of POUNDS more than they will hold? Or come up with some way to anchor the chenille so it doesn't fly off? The instructions say to wash and dry the spread repeatedly, checking the dryer lint trap EVERY 15 MINUTES! It means just that! The lint trap will be totally full each and every time you check it and if allowed to go past that point, chenille lint may fall down inside the dryer housing and could create a hazard. The instructions say this and they aren't exaggerating the risk. I washed and dried mine five times and almost an equal amount of lint came off every time. The final time, I added some fabric softener to the rinse water which seemed to make the chenille hold a little better. Bottom line, I think I will just put it on the bed when someone is coming to visit as it looks so pretty but I would not buy it again.

I really love this bedspread. Bedspreads are hard to find. Like any chenille, there is some shedding. It is worth it!

This bedspread is modern and retro at the same time. The colors are simply gorgeous! My hubby doesn't like heavy covers and in Florida, comforters are just not practical. I can keep this spread on all year long -- even in summer. The only downfall is the length. I ordered a queen for our deep mattress, full-sized bed and the sides don't touch the floor. But the look is still gorgeous! Highly recommend!
