I was surprised by the color. But not unhappy. I read the other reviews and knew that the color was not true to the picture. Knowing this I was still taken back a bit. I would describe the color to be a golden dijon. This is a great product at a great price. Washes well, and hides the dog hair in between washes. I would buy this product again.

This is a great set (I ordered black)... masculine and feminine at the same time. Right now we have it on the more "masculine" side which is the houndsooth. I am slightly (but barely) disappoineted in the background color because it's very golden, not so much creamy. I would almost say it's a "cafe" color, even. It still matches our decor but just beware of the background color, it's darker than pictured. Other than that, I couldn't be happier. It's soft and durable at the same time. We have two dogs and two cats and they like to lay on the bed sometimes... no sign of hair! It holds the comforter in place as well, no sliding. I wish they made King size duvets larger for King size beds... but that's not the manufacturers fault, it's the bedding industry ;) Such a beautiful set... we ONLY order bedding from Overstock!

This duvet set is a terrific value compared to what I saw other stores. I wanted to spruce up our room without spending a fortune. I washed it first, and I could use it without ironing - the material is very soft. It is very comfortable too and I have been resting easy since the purchase. Now my daughter wants one for her room. Just to mention though, the product looks a little different from the photos. The background is a darker cream ( almost a camel color) than the picture suggests. However, the color combination is very pretty. I am satisfied with this product and have recommended it to my mother who is looking for a duvet set.

I absolutely love this set It was exactly what I needed and great price and quality and shipped quickly! I think it is beautiful and was pleasantly surprised to find the other side of the duvet to be houndstooth. the material is a tiny bit darker in person but I love the color and it has a little shine to it. I dont think anyone would be disappointed with this set and esp for such a great price!

Just received this yesterday and it is beautiful, the material is a 400 thread count cotton. We needed something for our bedroom which was pet friendly and this fits the bill perfectly! And the price is right too!

Very nice soft feel and muted cream and tan color. For the price you can't beat it.

I use a king on my queen size bed and this hangs nicely. I have 2 dogs that sleep on my bed each night and there is no pilling or snagging. The Sateen Finish wears well and looks beautiful!

I actually recommend NOT getting this duvet set only because its softness will make it impossible for you to wake up in the morning!I I bought this and the matching sheet set and they are both incredibly soft and very well made. The duvet cover has a set set of closure buttons that makes keep the comforter in place inside. The full/queen size was perfect for a full bed and it wasn't too big. The black option is very pretty and the color is crisp. The background color I think looks light beige in the picture and it is so in person -- creamy colored. Very neutral and matches well with black furniture but can imagine it going well with any color furniture, except white. Shipping was very fast! Can't recommend enough!

This set gets use all season long. In the winter I put a down comforter in and summer I take the comforter out. I paired with cocoa colored velvet drapes and bed skirt.

this duvet wrinkles out of the dryer and I remove it from the dryer immediately. The color was nothing like I ordered. and the fabric was too heavy for my taste.

lovely duvet set...good quality...one of many i have purchase from overstock..... the color was too gold for my decor....thought it was more of a neutral cream color.... sent it back and purchased another.... if you have or need a good quality set and gold fits your bill...buy it.....

I use this cover in the winter months... they make the room feel darker and cozier. My only pause for using this cover is the limited sheets that can coordinate or look good with it.

I got this duvet cover as a gift and I love it. When I first opened it, I was afraid the color/pattern was too subdued ( I have the Mocha) but once I opened it, I loved the feel (very soft, nice quality fabric) and it fit perfectly on my lightweight duvet (also ordered from Overstock). The background color is actually a little shimmery cream/gold and it really lightened up the look of my bedroom. I have washed it once, one of the buttons came off, but otherwise it washed really well too.

I ordered two of these devet covers, and love them both. They look classy, and wear and wash well. They are practical and good looking also.

In my opinion, the colors of the duvet cover I purchsed were pretty close to what they looked like online. I wasn't shocked or disappointed when I received it. I love it & it works perfectly in matching with the bedroom decor. So far it seems like it's of good quality too.

All excellent, but the background color is actually gold not cream as in the picture.

nice material, but picture shows it having more of a yellow background, but it is really white. (I bought the spice) Not exactly what I was wanting-it is very crisp & clean looking, I was wanting more of a muted,warm look, but I am going to keep it-will look nice when spring gets here. I haven't removed it from package yet, so the way it fits on my king size down comforter, I don't know yet.

Love this set! I'm actually only using the shams. The duvet cover is folded over my quilt to add color and dimension. The fabric is a little rough, but it looks great for room decor.
