I tried the 6" one and it was way too thick so i ordered the 4" one. It is a very nice pillow but it doesn't squish down much so it feels too firm for my liking.

i purchased this pillow because i often have back and neck issues from sitting at a desk for half of each day and not stretching as i should. i figured something like a memory-foam pillow would at least help keep my head and neck supported while i sleep, thus reducing the chance of an achy neck in the morning. i'd say this pillow does a little more than half the job i hoped it would (though i've only been using it for two weeks). it's taking my neck and back a little while to get used to it - even though it's really comfortable and really conforms to the shape of your head. it does provide support, but for me the best support is when i lye on the pillow vertically so a portion of it comes up under my upper back. it's not as good a Tempur-Pedic, but definitely worth less than half the cost. for someone who doesn't suffer from neck or back issues but just wants more support, i would say this pillow is perfect for that. it has a really nice texture and outer bamboo cover. it looks and feels expensive.

I ordered two of these 4-inch memory foam pillows after reading the 6-inch thick (same) pillow reviews. There were no reviews on the 4-inch pillow that I ordered, but since the other pillow is the same, I thought I couldn't loose. I did not want it too thick so I would not get too much material around my face, and find it hard to breathe with memory foam around my face... I thought the 4-inch seemed perfect, but for me it seems too flat, but my husband likes it. I feel like I have to put my arm under my pillow for elevation when I side or side-stomach sleep, and I don't like thick pillows either. I am of average weight also. I may adjust, as I understand from the reviews I've read, that they do not let you return bedding. If I returned, I would definitely want the 6-inch, because it is such a good quality pillow. I just feel like I don't get the benefit of the memory foam, as it seems a little thin, seems like it is not quiet a 4-inch. If you like the thin version, go for it, but if you like at medium-thin to medium and up, then definitely go for the 6-inch. Otherwise this is a good pillow, and I am picky, but was so in hopes that this was the right thickness. It may be perfect for you though...I will continue to use, if I am not allowed to return for now.

These pillows are the bomb! They stay cool, and the softness.... Wow!!!! You really need to get these, if you don't have them already.

I have never had a pillow in my life as incredible as these. I have bad discs including one that was surgically removed and the vertebrate fused. Helps my sleep quite a bit. My cat uses the second one and loves it.

Thinner than the 6" version of this pillow, this is the pillow that I would recommend if you have the memory foam stye pad or mattress. The 6" version may prove to be too thick unless you have the traditional style mattress. Now all of this depends on your personal body size etc. All in all this is an excellent purchase: Very good quality pillow, both the 6 and 4 inch versions, money well spent.

Bought this thinking that the 6" was too large but it turns out this is just as firm and still causes discomfort when sleeping on my back. The soft memory foam pillow from this company is what I was looking for... But I decided to play it safe and buy down this time.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband after returning the 6-inch version, which was too big to be comfortable for him. He says he likes it and that it contours well.

The best night sleep that I have had in a really long time. The pillow is a bit on the firm side, but it comforms to the shape of my head nicely. I had read others reviewers comments about smelling a strong oder when fist pulling the pillow out of the package. I had the same oder when I opened my package as well. I just let it air out on an open shelf for a few days and now the oder is gone.

I've had memory foam pillows before and they have been comfortable but this one is by far,,, the best one yet!!! 4 inches is the perfect height for me, it is soft yet supportive and the Bamboo cover looks and feels great. In fact it looks so great I didn't even put a pillow case over it, I figure if it gets dirty I can take the cover off and wash it. Shipping was fast and my pillow is wonderful - I highly recommend this product

I bought two of these. Opened one up and was happy with how it looked. Then I felt it. Foam feels and smells cheap. The pillow feels absolutely terrible and has no "memory" feel what-so-ever. It feels like the crappy support foam you'd expect on the bottom of a memory foam mattress. Not the plush, high-density foam you want to lay on. Returning.

Bought this pillow as a gift. He simply loves it!!! No more neck pain in the mornings.

I did not think it was too smelly like some other reviewers. It seems like a high quality memory foam and a butter soft bamboo cover.

It's good overall. It's my first foam pillow so I don't really have anything to compare it with. I saw a lot of people didn't like it because it's too low. I love low pillows and this one is still a little bit high for me. It's comfortable though. It smelled pretty horrible for 3 weeks. Now the smell is really faint and doesn't bother me anymore. I like it.

I ordered this pillow because I prefer the flat memory foam pillows to the contoured ones. I'm a very small person, and this pillow puts no strain on my neck. When I bought my first pillow in this style, the salesman told me these pillows are good if you change positions while you sleep a lot... ie good for stomach sleepers, side sleepers, and even back sleepers. It is very flat, so if that's not what you are looking for, this pillow is not for you. It does, however, give plenty of support, and I love its pillow cover.

We ordered 4 of these for the whole family. We have seen reveiws that say this pillow is too thin. It is what is decribed, or at least that is what was shipped to us - and BTW the pillow shipped Super FAST! My brother ordered the same pillow, but in the thicker 5 or 6 inch version, which is also offered on Overstock. Little or no Smell, We all LOVE our pillows - THANKS!!!

I purchased 3 of these for our condo. We love them. My husband, 6 year old child and I have never slept better. I always wake up with back pain and neck pain. The past week, I had no pain. They are so great that I am buying some for our house in Indiana. Great product, great shipping!

He says that he hasn't woken up with a kink in his neck or shoulders once since he got his new pillow. I am small and I feel like it picks my neck & head up too high. Other than that, it's nice....
