Isadora White Matelasse Queen-size Bedspread

I washed this queen sized bed spread, according to instructions: delicate cycle, cold water and dried it at a very low heat, in a gentle cycle. It shrank to fit a full size bedspead, with limited alterations! I was totally irrate, as I was expecting guests who would be using the guest room where the bedspread was supposed to be. I had to go shopping for a spread, which was an inconvenience, since I was on a tight schedule. The only thing that calmed me down was Overstock's customer service. "Julie N." was just great! Very service oriented. I definitely plan to shop at Overstock.Com again - I just happened to get a bad/defective product.

This is nore of a "Coverlet" than a "bedspread". Very flimsy fabric, no definition. Another review noted that it had fringe on the edges; what I received had no fringe.

We had just purchased a new queen size mattress and boxspring and when I saw the Isadora bedspread, I had to have it, but when I received it I realized that the queensize bedspread did not reach the floor, because the boxspring was very high. So I had to return the spread and purchase a King size spread which I love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I must say Overstock is very good at returns, and I would order from them again,

This is very light weight but I added a white duvet underneath for the winter nights. Washed well and looks great with the white bedskirt.
