From my research into down comforters, 700 fill power is considered a heavyweight comforter. However, even in California's mild winter, I'm still cold with this comforter at nights. The comforter is not fluffy. Not what it was advertised at all. I'm buying another heavyweight comforter so I can sleep better.
I read both the negative and positive comments and decided and I would have to agree with the negative comments. When it arrived the comforter was kind of flat and I gave it almost 2 weeks hoping to see if plump up a little bit, it did not. I was very disappointed in the way it was constructed. The down fill was clumped together, so one side was plump and plush, the other flat and feathers clumped. Would not recommend this to anyone...
This down comforter was disappointing. It said it was med-warmth so I expected it to be a little fluffier than my old one. The interesting thing is the title states it's "med-warmth" however, the description when you click on it said all-weather. And I have a good feeling mine was all-weather when I paid the additional price for med-warmth. It's a lot thinner than I had hoped.
I looked specifically at all the duvets - looking for oversized with 600-700 fill for the best loft. I returned one from a major department store with a lower fill power to get the Overstock one, and regretted it. The Overstock one was definitely cheaper, but couldn't possibly have the fill it claimed to have. DO NOT BUY if you're looking for a nice, thick down comforter.
I thought the 500 count and 600 fill power would mean that this would be a good quality comforter. We got the twin and king and found that wen we lifted it up towards the light the down seemed bunchy and uneven. The edging also seemed to be of lesser quality than expected. It did not seem to be much better than the 3 year old comforter we were trying to replace. I returned both sizes.
I read the reveiws and they were mixed --- the comforter is warm, but all the fluff hangs off the side of the bed. I ordered a king because most people said the queen wasn't big enough and they were right, but all the down seems to hang off the side of the bed ---- I was totally disappointed!!!

I read the reviews on this product prior to making my purchase. Although some reviews were very favorable, others rated this down comforter very poorly. I figured if the product fell somewhere in the middle, I would be pleased. However, I have to say that I'm quite disappointed. The product was advertised as having 650-700 FP (fill power), which it is nowhere near. The weight is much lighter than I expected for a "medium warmth" comforter. Some of the cells seem to be missing down fill completely. The stitching and fabric quality are very good. I decided to keep the comforter rather than return it, as I didn't want to deal with the hassle of a return.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. There isn't a sufficient amount of down filling in this comforter to qualify for "medium warmth". The thread count of the fabric is very good.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Not accurate about the fill power at all.
Worst investment ever. I just sent this back after spending *** more for the Silkworks 500tc comforter and comparing the two (THAT comforter is a dream. Fluffy and really nicely made. Get it.). I was SO disappointed when I opened the box. I hoped that the negative reviews on this site describing the same poor quality that I found were just few and far between incidents, but I received the same crappy product. Boxes were unevenly filled and some had almost no feathers at all. Comforter was flat and never fluffed even after a week. Looked cheap, felt cheap, hate it. I have a microfiber mini-comforter from Costco that I got for *** that's better made, fluffier and warmer. This thing is total junk. Can't wait to slap the return label on it.

- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Can't believe this is the same product as described on the site
I have had this comforter for over a year and it sheds. I always have feathers on my carpet and my clothes, and sometimes in my hair from the comforter (even though I use a duvet cover). The feathers always come out. The comforter is warm and comfortable. Nevertheless, the shedding doesn't make this comforter a good buy.
Fluffed up nicely right out of the bag, no odor, great fit for queen size bed. great quality at a good price. i have had 4 comforters in the past 6 years and this ranks very high in comparison to more costly comforters i have purchased.

First time I have been dissappointed in an overstock.com product, but this is an awful comforter.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? fine
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. inferior, down comes out of it if you slightly fluff it, all the down as we speak is on all four edges, not in the body of the comforter. It is awful

I ordered this in King and full. Both are very sparse in fill. I waited, thinking that it would puff up, but I've had them 2 weeks now and they're no fuller than when I took them out of the package. I also bought some down pillows from O, and have the same problem. Today I'm headed out to buy replacements, so I essentially wasted my money. I've purchased duvets before from O and was much happier the last time.

I thought buying a higher thread count for a comforter would mean better quality but I am very disappointed in the comforter. Even though the comforter is designed with the baffled box design, the down seems to travel to the sides leaving nothing on the top of the bed which is where you actually need the down. I would not buy this particular comforter again.
I thought I'd treat myself to a nice down comforter for my 50th B-Day. WOW was i disappointed. The down is distributed very poorly though out the comforter. Some boxes are nice and fluffy others have very little in them. BACK IT GOES. After reading more reviews it seems like there's a serious problem with quality control. I also think they're generic.
Upon receipt of this comforter, I was disappointed to find the down was unevenly distributed in the baffles. While some squares were full, others were almost completely empty/flat. I choose a comforter with a baffle design with the understanding that this would help keep the down evenly distributed during use, however this is only going to be as good as the initial down distribution. Sent the comforter back at my expense :(
I have bought quite a few down comforters but this is the first time I would rather have purchased just a sheet! The baffles for the most part are near empty. Over all visual FLAT. Yes I let "breath" after being packed tight and then tried fluffing in dryer. But still looks like a lumpy sheet. With very few lumps. Hoping to pawn off on someone needing a warm sheet as a return from free shipping costs almost ten bucks. Sorry Over Stock this item should be stricken from your usually wonderful collection. Trust me I will always keep an eye out for the fantastic deals you promote. Fan for life but hit a bump in the road.
