Hubby and I are, admittedly, pillow snobs. Our old goose down pillows are finally worn out, and we have been searching for a new pair for about a year. After researching goose down pillow specifics, such as fill power and weight, and after reading through all the other user reviews concerning this particular pillow, we took the risk of ordering a pair. We knew within a few minutes that these pillows do not even begin to compare to our old ones. After letting them fluff up, and they did look pretty, we discovered that the fluff and support were only visual--the pillows flattened with the least amount of weight. If you want pillows that look pretty and fluffy on your bed, these will do, though they are an expensive option. However, if you want a great goose down pillow that keeps its fluff and support when you lay your head on it, keep looking. Also, though the product description states that the pillows consist only of goose down and cotton (for the cover), the pillow tag reads, "Minimum 75% goose down" instead of "100% goose down."

While I can use mine with reasonable comfort, my wife stuck hers aside for guests and bought a dept. store down pillow on sale for $20 less than this one and finds it far more comfortable. I figure that with time my pillow will soften and improve.

I had been shopping for down pillows for a while to replace the ones that I already had. I shopped a lot and these pillows really were about half the price of comparable pillows in the local stores. I was concerned about the smell that other reviewers had mentioned. My pillows did not smell at all. The fabric is excellent. The pillows are not quite as firm as I had hoped, but I would definintely recommend these pillows.

I am so pleased with this down pillow! I had disc replacement surgery on 4 vertabrae in my neck last year and out of all the pillows I have tried, this pillow gives me the proper support for my neck without sacrificing the luxurious softness of a high quality down pillow! It is filled with just the right amount of down, firm, but soft enough to shape how I want it to be for a wonderful night's sleep without neck pain when I wake up! Thank you very much Overstock!

Should have listened to the negative reviews, this pillow is in no way medium firm. the feathers shift and your head is lying on the cover only. Tried fluffing it with zero effect. The labeling says contains 75% down but thats all, no reference to the source ie Siberia or to the brand. This is the first thing I have ordered from Overstock that has disappointed me. It was to be a Christmas present but it certainly is nothing like the product I thought I was buying

These pillows are great....I've ordered down pillows before from overstock, this time decided to go with the higher fill for a longer lasting pillow. These however are just a bit firmer than what i expected, but still extremely comfortable. One trick i've learned it a good way to fluff up the pillow after you take it out of the box is to put it in the dryer on air fluff/..NO HEAT for 10 minutes and WOW! Good rule of thumb would be to do this every month or so and you will always get extra life out of you down. I think these pillows had a 700+ fill but seeing how firm they are you can really get by with 650 if you prefer a little softer feel.

Just used these for the first time last night. They are nicer and plumper than other similar pillows. They fill out the pillowcase snugly, then when your head lays on it it is sooooo soft and just cuddles your head and neck. The cover is soft as Egyptian cotton is meant to be. I will buy more, these are just very great pillows for a price I can appreciate.

I have a bit of a bedding addiction. I am constantly buying duvets, pillows, covers, sheets. I seek nothing less than perfection in my night's sleep. Even my SO and friends have commented on how fabulous my bed is. And the highlight of my bed is easily these pillows. They're wonderfully soft--the only reason to buy down, in my opinion--yet they offer a startling amount of support. I've purchased (many) other down pillows in the past (in fact, I used to buy two pillows every year or two--again, addiction), but my quest for the perfect pillow has ended. This is the holy grail.

These pillows are great to sleep on. At first I thought they were a little softer and flatter than I wanted but after sleeping on them they are perfect. They fluff great and are quite full. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for down pillows.

So glad we got these pillows - they're full of down, and so very comfortable. The down is protected by a thick outer layer of fabric, and a very well-sewn seam, so nothing escapes outside of the pillow! We'd definitely order these again (but I don't foresee the need to). An excellent buy, sure to last a long, long time!

The product is awful and not worth the money. The fill was minimal and an embarassment! I thought I was investing in a quality product. This was my first and LAST purchase with "O". The product also was received in an unsanitary box. The two pillows were in a case that look like it had been thrown off a truck... GROSS!

Great pillows! Very comfortable, and they are filled with enough down to remain fluffy, years after I bought them.

This pillow is everything I could ask for. I love it so much that I purchased two additional ones. Totally worth the money.

These pillows seemed wonderful at first. After about 8 weeks, I noticed an odor. I thought maybe the dog had sat on the pillows, so I changed the pillow cases. The odor kept getting worse. I realized it was the pillows. Google "down pillow odor" and you will get a thorough explanation of how poor manufacture can lead to a bad smell in down pillows--you can never get it out!

The perfect pillow. I've owned every type of pillow known to man and these are by far the best. The feel and weight of these pillows sleep well on my tempurpedic mattress. Cool and breathable exceptionally soft covers. I hope nobody buys these so they are here when I want to buy more. Don't tell your friends ... PLEASE!

Would recommend product. My husband loves the comfort of the pillow. He is a stomach sleeper and loves the way the pillow supports his head and neck while staying soft but fairly firm.

I've slept on them for several weeks now. They aren't overstuffed for my neck. I need pillows that aren't too full because I always sleep on my stomach. I can fluff it up where I need too. I bought them for comfort though, knowing they might be too flat for presentation/appearance. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I might get another set for just a plusher look.

Excellent pillows. Just the right amount of fill, not too dense, not too sparse. Great quality.

The pillow is of good materials and comfy,but I would prefer a zippered removable sham.
