THIS IS A GREAT PILLOW IF YOU SLEEP IN MORE THAN ONE POSITION. VERY HIGH QUALITY. WHEN I TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX IT DID NOT HAVE A VERY STRONG NEW GOOSE DOWN SMELL. IT AIRED OUT IN HOURS AND WAS READY FOR THE BED THAT NIGHT. THE FILL IS EXCELLENT, I NOW ONLY NEED ONE PILLOW INSTEAD OF TWO. IT FLUFFS UP WITH MINIMAL EFFORT, AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A FEATHER POKE THROUGH. I TOOK THIS PILLOW WITH ME TO THE HOSPITAL WHEN I GAVE BIRTH TO MY DAUGHTER. IT DEFINITELY ADDED TO MY COMFORT LEVEL WHILE I HAD TO STAY THERE. I PLAN TO PURCHASE ONE FOR MY HUSBAND. THE ONLY THING I WISH WERE DIFFERENT IS IF THE COVER WAS DETACHABLE FOR EASY MACHINE WASH.

This was your most luxurious and expensive pillow. It is meagerly filled and doesn't plump or fluff as it seems it should. It lies mostly flat and doesn't provide the expectd comfort.

As a fan of down pillows for over 20 years, I was really looking forward to receiving these pillows. Comfort-wise, they were great, but the smell coming from the pillows was atrocious. Also one pillow was stuffed really thick and the other one had hardly any down at all. The smell actually permeated the whole bedroom. It smelled like wet dog. I kept thinking it would get better, but it didn't. I tried washing the pillows, bleaching the pillows, and as of three weeks ago, I threw the pillows away. I know I should have returned them, but I finally could take the smell no more and rather than fool with trying to return them after attempting to use them for over a month, I just threw them away. Don't know how these pillows are rated so high after my experience with them.

This is a beautiful, very well made pillow. It arrived promptly and had no smell whatsoever, even though it had been encased in plastic for shipping. This is not, however, a good pillow for a stomach sleeper, as it doesn't get flat enough when you lie on it. If you are a side sleeper, then this is the pillow for you.

I am very particular about what I use for a pillow and have long ago switched to using only down. That said, there are different levels of quality between down pillows. I require a pillow that has enough loft to keep it's shape and not flatten. I require a pillow that is not overstuffed which causes my head and neck to be in a strained position. This pillow has proven to be exactly what I want providing sufficient support without overstuffing, so this is the second time I have purchased this item. Now, with two comfortable pillows I have one to take with me to motels when I travel and one at home. With one at home and one for travel there is no risk of being without a top quality pillow if I happen to accidentally leave the travel pillow behind. Since previous reviews mention an odd odor, I anticipated my sensitive nose to notice an odd smell. I didn't find this the case and immediately used my new pillow with complete comfort. I highly recommend this item for anyone who is particular about their bedding.

the king sized pillows could use a little more fill, but its like sleeping on a cloud

I BELIEVE THE ADVERTIZING ON THIS PRODUCT WAS MISLEADING. I WAS LED TO BELEIVE IT WAS A 100% GOOSE DOWN PILLOW. HOWEVER WHEN I RECEIVED IT THE TAG ON THE PILLOW SAID IT WAS 75% GOOSE DOWN. I AM ALSO DISAPPOINTED THAT THE STICHING AROUND THE PILLOW IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO SLEEP ON BECAUSE IT IS TOO HARD AND PROTRUDES OUT TOO FAR.

After searching for years I have found the best pillow I've ever slept on. I am a side sleeper and found this pillow to have the perfect amount of fill that you can still scrunch it for side sleeping but I've also noticed I've been sleeping very comfortably on my back as well. It doesn't sink so much that you feel like there is nothing between your head and the mattress like other pillows I've used in the past. When I sleep on my side it scrunches very nicely under my neck to support it and my head so that I am sleeping more level now than before. No more back or neck aches. My daughter tested it for just a few minutes and thought it was heavenly and will probably get one for her birthday.

These pillows are the best. I've used a lot of pillows over the years. I can say with absolute certainty, that if you sleep on your side, these are the pillows for you. I was so worried about the smell because almost everyone complained about it. The pillows I received did not have the bad smell people were complaining about, and I am very sensitive to smells. Anyway, buy these pillows, you'll LOVE them.

These pillows are very comfortable and a good value. I've purchased other feather pillows from Overstock.com that were terrific too. However, I recently purchased feather pillows from another store and my husband hated them...I didn't like them either, but my husband was worse than I was. He told me to buy these from Overstock and to get good feather pillows, not "robin feathers" like I purchased at the store. I would recommend these pillows to anyone that likes feather pillows...there very good.

I bought this as an early Christmas present for my husband and he loves it! He is a side sleeper so likes that it is soft enought to squish down but firm enough to give support

Have cronic neck problems and a friend of mine recommended Goose Down pillow; not just Down. She said because it fluffs back up. I haven't slept so good in years and my neck is significantly better. I highly recommend the investment!

We are enjoying these pillows. At first I thought they were a little light but they are really nice. I am a stomach sleeper so I was a little concerned that I wouldn't like them but I sleep fine on them. I would and have recomended them to my friends.

This pillow is so soft and comforable. It's really one of the nicest pillows I have ever had.

Quality down pillow for a side-sleeper. Ignore the negative comments of other people who have purchased this pillow. They don't understand the characteristics of a down pillow. It's too "puffy" for me because I sleep mostly on my stomach, but that was my fault for not believing the product's medium loft designation for side-sleepers. My wife likes the medium loft so she enjoys the pillow.

These are the best. They are exactly as described and feel wonderful.

The pillow is okay. I have had it for about 3 weeks and it really flattens out when you use it. It could have had a lot more fill in the pillow. I would not recommed it to anyone.

This pilow was not anything like it was described. There is no firmness to it what so ever and it felt like I was lying on the mattress. It is a nice pillow for someone who likes very little support on their head. Overall overstock does a great job but on this one not so much.

This is the best pillow I've ever owned. For the first time in years I wake without a sore neck! There are no feathers poking out and there was no noticable smell when I removed it from the box.
