Such a wonderful product, I purchased 3 over the past year; 1 for the Master Bedroom, 1 for my Daughter that just got married and 1 for my son that just moved to Europe & wanted to take nice linens with him; due to fact of how very expensive they are over there. I've had mine for just past a year & love it!!! For the cost, I feel like I got a deal! When comparing to others that were similar in the dept. stores, the same comforter should have cost more than $***.**. It's the perfect weight, soft & airy, but quite warm. the goose down is the way to go! No ugly, uncomfortable feathers sticking out like in some of the cheaper comforters. It's lightweight, so doesn't feel heavy, yet seems to maintain the perfect warmth. I layer mine with 1000 TC Egyptian cotton sheets in the fall & winter for extra warmth, & layer w/600 TC Egyptian sheets in the spring & summer; the lighter weight sheets gives us the perfect warmth. Some think TC means the softness, IT DOESN'T, it means threads per square inch, meaning the higher the thread count, the HEAVIER the sheets; often this does equate to luxury, as a heavier sheet often feels more luxurious and expensive. Anyway, this is a wonderfully made medium weight goose down comforter, keep in a nice Duvet Cover and it should last for many years. It's a definite BUY!!
